“Came for my aunties 50th birthday. Had a lovely meal with amazing service from James. He was on top of everything including drinks and food. Overall great experience, would go again.”

“While the food was lovely, the staff were quite unprofessional, and quite rude. There was around 6-8 bar/dining staff in that day. When seated, although there were no customers in the dinning room, it took 25 minutes for anyone to come over to take our order, which only happened after prompting a staff member to come over. After a 45 minute wait, drinks came, with an apology due to the staff member forgetting to put the order into the system. (No complimentary drinks or discount besides this error). We were told that food would be late due to this error. After another 30 minutes, food came, which was the Trio of Roasts and the Duo of Beef. While the Beef was indeed lovely, sadly the Roast Potatoes were quite overcooked, and over salty. The chicken in the Trio of Roasts was sadly overcooked and also just a wing/drumstick. However, I was told by my partner that the Duo of Beef was rather lovely. But Potatoes were also an issue. Around 4 minutes after we finished eating a staff member rushed over to ask if we wanted the desert menu, but we prompted due to the bad service we received, we would just like the bill. Which came to £70+. Sadly, this was not the service I would of expected from a place such as this, especially at the price. Will not be returning, and have told others to do so. Especially for Sunday dinner service. We also noticed while eating another dinner group coming in, receiving the same late service, besides the young staff standing in a corner, chatting and giggling to each other.”

“The interior decor is gorgeous with such comfortable seating and the staff and service were excellent. We had a Sunday roast and I ordered the sirloin with all the trimmings . Sides were extra . At nearly £25 my plate only had two thin small slices of beef which was very un generous considering the price charged. We were in a large family party for my birthday so I didn’t want to complain and spoil the atmosphere but rather thought I won’t return here or recommend this to friends . Very sad that it wouldn’t take much to change the meanness …”

“A good comfy room. Fairly quiet. Good bathroom. Food really good but limited selection. Service a bit slow but pleasant. Car entry poorly designed and exit only allows 1 vehicle so if a delivery is being made, your exit is blocked until they are finished.”
