“Really fresh salad & coleslaw with the delicious toasted sandwiches, great coffee too. Lovely decor and atmosphere, definitely worth a visit!”

“Unfortunately today will be our last visit as this place has gone downhill. We've been visiting for years as it was nice back then. The menu is very small now. When the Indian guy was chef he did curries and Turkish breakfast type things with lots specials on a blackboard. It's slowly got less choice over time with very limited options for lunch. For what you get the food is poor value for money. The place was absolutely dead on a Saturday lunch time. The place used to be very busy but it feels like it's being run down to be closed, and maybe that's their intention. It's a shame as it could be successful with the right management. In the meantime don't waste your money, Glossop has many other options.”

“Usually enjoy lunches here. Sadly standards seems to be dropping. Todays service poor and the chef openly short tempered with staff. The pie and mash was served with hard carrots and peas like bullets, and both mash and veg were only lukewarm. Generally staff are great, today uninterested and seemed irritated by the customers. Overall very disappointed.”
