Customer Review Summary
Generous portions at reasonable prices draw the most praise, with diners pointing to the massaman curry with prawns, the pad see ew and the nam tok nua salad, which one reviewer calls fresh. Close behind are friendly service and meals that arrive quickly. One reviewer enjoyed the maekong sour cocktail, and a Thai couple calls the food authentic and returned for dinner after lunch. Pad Thai divides opinion. One reviewer remembers a great first visit, then found a spicy, watery veggie version, while another describes no taste, tough chicken, and dry skewers and tofu. Delivery draws the harshest complaints: a yellow vegetable curry packed in a thin plastic bag, a rude response when the restaurant was phoned, and crispy chicken that arrived burnt and cold. Others mention uncomfortable stools, loud noise, and a service charge with a tip option on top. In one dine-in case, a wrong vegan order was replaced with a fresh meal and an apology.

“Went here about a year ago, got the Pad Thai, and it was genuinely one of the best I've had. Service was also extremely friendly and they were on it about allergies and dietary requirements - which was a welcome reassurance. Went back recently and was quite disappointed. Got the veggie Pad Thai again but it was totally different, extremely spicy and swimming in water, some of which ended up over my legs as the waitress plonked it down - without an apology I might add. May have been an off day however upon recieving the bill, which had a 10% service charge added, the cheek to then add a tip option on the card machine just topped off an already bad experience. Despite how good my first experience was, I sadly don't think I'll be back.”

“I ordered the yellow vegetable curry through Deliveroo and was really disappointed with the packaging and overall experience. The curry was packed directly in a very thin plastic bag while still hot, which is completely unacceptable. Hot food in flimsy plastic is concerning from a health and safety perspective and felt extremely cheap for a takeaway order. To make matters worse, when I called the restaurant to raise the issue, the staff member I spoke to was rude and dismissive instead of addressing the concern professionally. Overall, the food packaging, customer service, and lack of care left a very poor impression. I wouldn’t recommend ordering from here.”

“Great Thai restaurant in Glasgow. The server at our table was very kind. Dishes were generously sized and very delicious. Plus toilet is very clean. Definitely will visit again when back in Glasgow.”

“Ordered food from this place. I’m utterly disappointed and cannot believe how terrible the food are. This place is totally a humiliation to Thai food. I ordered 4 things, none of them were acceptable. The chicken skewer is thin as a chopstick, and tough as rock, totally unchewable. The fried tofu is so dry and not crispy. The fried prawns is coated with thick and oily batter, and only 4 dry prawns in a portion. All of these 3 dishes are “small dishes” but consider the price of around £6 still unbelievable poor value. For the main, Pad Thai has no taste and color and only spicy hot but nothing like a pad Thai. No peanut taste, no sweetness, no fish sauce taste, only spicy! Pad Thai is not suppose to be a spicy dish! Chicken meat in the pad Thai is again dry and tough, pieces of egg are hard to fine, just bean sprout, onions and shallot onion but no other vegetables. Absolutely terrible! Look at the photos, simply can tell they are not appealing and also taste awful. Overall, the worst Thai food I ever had. I would not recommend ever! Can’t believe it has established so long in Glasgow. They shall be ashamed of this food quality and stop insulting Thai food!”

“The food arrived in paper boxes, which felt a bit more casual than expected for dining in. I ordered the chicken pad see ew and nam tok nua. The seating is mainly stools, which aren’t the most comfortable for a full meal. The female waitress who took our order also seemed a bit impatient. The pad see ew was quite salty for my taste, even though I know it’s meant to be a savoury dish. However, the nam tok nua salad was fresh and really enjoyable. Overall, the prices are pretty reasonable for the West End, and there were some good elements, but a few things could be improved for a more comfortable dining experience.”
