Customer Review Summary

Friendly, attentive staff are what diners raise most, with several describing servers who chatted, checked in often and made the table feel welcome, though one reviewer found the waitress rude and impatient. Dishes draw specific praise: Thai basil chicken and Thai red curry described as rich and balanced, a green curry called marvelous, pork belly, glass noodle salad, and pineapple fried rice that tasted like the reviewer's meals in Thailand. Another reviewer liked the sharing platter, with a good pause between starter and main, and a third singled out a galangal dip and an old fashioned. Consistency is the recurring weak spot. One reviewer found the cashew chicken sauce too sweet and the pad kra prow overly salty, while another called the Pad Thai dry and the red curry a half portion with dry chicken. That same reviewer reports fried chicken that was raw near the bone. The king prawn fried rice earned credit for very fresh prawns and a well balanced sauce, and the sticky rice was called very good.

“An amazing meal to be had here - the sharing platter is very good, a fab way to get a taste of everything. There was also a good bit of time between starter and main to let your food settle. Gem and Alec were our servers, and they were fantastic. Very attentive without being overbearing, and made you feel very comfortable. Thank you for a lovely visit!”

“Disappointing experience overall, especially considering there are much better Thai options out there for better prices. The Pad Thai was okay but quite dry. The Thai red curry felt like a half portion, containing dry chicken and a sauce that was very spicy but completely lacked any other depth of flavor. The worst part, however, was the fried chicken. I had to stop eating immediately because it was served completely undercooked—the meat near the bone was raw, pink, and translucent. Serving undercooked poultry is a major health and safety hazard. I hope management reviews their kitchen cooking temperatures immediately to prevent anyone from getting food poisoning.”

“Think of Thai food, and Rosa’s Thai is the first place that comes to mind. The food is full of flavour, and delicious. The ingredients are fresh, and the flavours are about 80% similar to traditional Thai cuisine, making it a great choice if you’re craving Thai food.”

“We visited this Thai restaurant for dinner on Monday during our stay in Glasgow. We had high expectations because of its excellent ratings. Unfortunately, our experience didn't live up to them. The waitress who took our order came across as rude and impatient, and she didn't smile once, which made us feel unwelcome. We ordered the Cashew Stir-fry Chicken with sticky rice, Pad Kra Prow Minced Chicken, and Khao Pad King Prawns. The King Prawns dish was the best of the three. The prawns were very fresh, and the sauce was well balanced. However, the Cashew Stir-fry Chicken was let down by a sauce that was too sweet, while the Pad Kra Prow Minced Chicken was overly salty. The sticky rice was very good though. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and is quite spacious, but unfortunately the disappointing service and inconsistent food quality detracted from our overall dining experience.”
