  “Mekong is one of our favourite restaurants not just in East Kilbride but full stop. The quality and value of the food can't be beaten, and the service is probably hands down the most consistently great of anywhere we like to eat out. We regularly have large bookings here for birthdays and other celebrations and the service is just as good as when we go as a couple. I love the fact the servers always remember what everyone has ordered without asking when the dishes are being served. It's a small thing which highlights their attention to detail.”

  “I honestly can’t recommend Mekong enough, it’s hands down my absolute favourite restaurant. The food is just on another level. You can genuinely taste the quality of the ingredients in every dish, and everything I’ve tried has been so unique, flavours I’ve never experienced anywhere else. The presentation is stunning too! every dish comes out looking so beautiful, it almost feels a shame to eat it… lol. Every course I get excited for, which says everything! The Thai crackers with sweet chilli sauce are unreal! I could genuinely sit and eat them all day. The sushi menu is absolutely divine as well, and the rolls are massive (which I love!). And I have to mention the salt & chilli chips, definitely the BEST I’ve had in Glasgow. The cocktails are another highlight for me, I always go for the lychee cosmo and it never disappoints. It’s honestly one of the nicest drinks I’ve had, and I look forward to it every time I visit. Even the desserts are amazing! the mochi is always my go to. On top of all that, the staff are so lovely and welcoming, and the interior is gorgeous, it just has such a nice atmosphere. Mekong, you are absolutely divine 🤍”

  “WOW WOW WOW 🤩 My friend and I went for a Monday night catch up dinner and we were blown away by the amazing service, yummy food and overall a fantastic experience! The food presentation was immaculate and the quality and taste of all the dishes was delicious. We will definitely be back and recommend to family and friends.”

  “I went here for the dinner menu, the food was so tasty. I got the PADI Style Curry; which had tons of flavour and a good amount for it's price! The Korean Fried Chicken was high quality, and had the perfect level of crisp, it exceeded my expectations. All the food came super fast, me and my family were very pleased. Amazing service, highly recommend coming here! 5/5 ❤”

  “Went here for my dad’s birthday with the family. I didn’t enjoy mine so much I had the chicken curry. My partner and kids had the sweet n sour chicken which they enjoyed. Here is the bad part, the service was really poor and very slow. There wasn’t a smile among any of the staff and they couldn’t have been less accommodating to a birthday meal if they tried. Worst part about this is the fact that we split the bill into 2 as there was 10 of us and they charged us a service charge for both which cost over £25. Now you wouldn’t mind paying one service charge if the service was actually any good but to be charged twice for having to print out an extra receipt is ridiculous. Won’t be back because of the service but it’s also extremely pricey for what you’re getting. 0/5 for price and service and 3/5 for the food”

  “Lovely restaurant, beautifully decorated. Went for pre theatre, was very busy for a Wednesday which was nice to see. Loved all our starters and mains, presentation was so nice. Staff were lovely. Great atmosphere, loved the background music.”

  “Visited for the second time on New Year's Eve as a party of 11. The restaurant was full and there was a great atmosphere. Our servers didn't miss a beat, no meals missed, food was perfect, and drinks topped up. The food here is exquisite, full of flavour, great portions, and leaves you wanting to come back to try more. This is a must visit.”
