About Paesano Pizza
Paesano Pizza is a pizza restaurant at 94 Miller St in Glasgow that makes wood-fired Neapolitan pizza in an open kitchen at the back of the room, so diners can watch each pizza being made. The dough is prepared in the store. A pizza of the day sits alongside specials listed on the wall, and the menu includes a Margherita and a ham and mushroom pizza. Vegetarian and vegan pizzas are also available, and tiramisu and cappuccino round out the other items. The dining room is large, with plenty of seating for big groups.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often single out the pizza itself, praising a light, authentic Neapolitan crust and fresh toppings, with the Margherita, the Gawain and Galloway pizzas, and a prawn pizza of the day named among the orders. One reviewer says the takeaway pizzas were still delicious the next day. Close behind is the service, described repeatedly as friendly and polite, along with a lively but cozy atmosphere and an open wall where pizzas are made in view. The tiramisu and cappuccino each earn a mention, and reviewers note vegetarian and vegan variety and a children's pizza that was a good size. Complaints are small. One reviewer was surprised by an extra 10% charge on the bill, another says the closing time listed online was wrong, and one notes many pizzas contain pork or ham. One says reservations are not possible, though the wait on weekends is usually short. Reviewers also mention tables being cleaned and reset the moment guests leave.

“Wow - what a pizza. Great dough, amazing toppings, and very friendly service. On top, super fair prices, and an amazing vibe. You cannot make reservations, so you might have to wait for a bit, but even on the weekends it’s usually not longer than 20 minutes. Drinks and pizza is served quickly. Make sure you also check out the „specials“ on the wall. And for the veggies and vegans: there is also a great variety available for you!”

“Wow what a fun experience this is! We got recommended this place by a local and he was right. The atmosphere at this place is very chic and modern while still keeping it casual. The pizza’s themself are great and made right at the back of the restaurant with an open wall so you can see the pizza’s get made in real time. I very much like this concept and more places should do this. The staff was friendly and helped us out since english isn’t our mother language. There was an additional 10% charge on the bill which was a little unexpected but the overall experience was great.”

“I was very very impressed. As soon as someone leaves the table is cleaned and reset. Not just by one person 3. They make the pizza base in the store and the pizza is cooked in quickly. We were walking past and saw alot of people inside. Always a good sign. The staff have been taught how to serve politely and effectively. Lots of room inside for large groups. I wish more restaurants we ate in impressed me like they did. I had the childrens pizza which was the perfect size for me.”

“Went here on recommendation and was not disappointed. The model and the vibe is pretty much copy/paste modern urban pizzeria stuff.... But I get the impression that this place was a forerunner. Large, extremely vibey and with superb staff, it's an extremely welcoming restaurant. The pizza is world class and the tiramisu (often a make or break menu option) elite. Enough said. Highly recommended.”

“Not without reason one of the best pizzerias in Europe. Everything was perfect: excellent pizza, great service, and very good value for money. Highly recommended!”
