About Thairiffic Restaurant
Thairiffic Restaurant is a Thai restaurant in Glasgow, up a flight of steps at 303 Sauchiehall St. The menu is built around small plates, with a "3 small plates plus rice" offer. Pad Thai appears both as the classic noodle dish and as pad Thai loaded fries, and the curries include green chicken curry (Gaeng Kiew Wan) and Panaeng curry. Spice levels can be adjusted to each diner's preference, and the team advises on dishes and answers allergy questions, such as those about coconut. Guests who ate a dish in Thailand and cannot find it on the menu can ask the kitchen, which takes off-menu requests where possible. Tables can be booked.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often single out the staff, describing them as friendly, knowledgeable and willing to adapt, from one waitress who steered a diner toward a light, mild order to another who took a severe coconut allergy seriously. Food comes close behind, with Pad Thai praised as perfect, along with Panaeng curry on coconut rice, papaya salad with sticky rice, King Prawn Tom Yum Soup and green chicken curry. The small plates offer, with chicken satay, pad Thai loaded fries and sweet basil chicken, is described as filling but not too much. Several mention reasonable prices and food arriving quickly. One reviewer found the dishes a bit bland and had tasted better elsewhere, and another notes the 20 to 25 steps up from the street make it unsuitable for anyone who cannot climb stairs. One group booked but found the room quiet enough that they did not need to, and one reviewer already wants to return for the massaman curry.

“Food is good and authentic. We have tried Panaeng curry on coconut rice, and papaya salad with sticky rice. Want to go back for massaman curry.”

“Thairiffic was terrific. We booked but didnt need to as it was pretty quiet but meant it wasnt too noisy. Service was friendly and the food came speedily. Really enjoyed our evening here and in a great position close to other bars to enjoy the rest of the evening.”

“A nice small Thai restaurant located upstairs. A good place to go to for a quick getaway from busier and bigger places. Food: I ordered two dishes: 1. Gaeng Kiew Wan (Green Chicken Curry). Tastes like something inbetween a chicken noodle soup and a soupy chicken Kurma with vegetables. 2. King Prawn Tom Yum Soup. Tastes like honestly like tomato soup with prawns and a zesty like taste. Highly recommend. Service: Fantastic, the waitress advised what was good on the menue for my taste preference. I wanted something light and not too heavy on the stomach. Something not too spicy. Kind and explained what each dish was similar to. Food came extremely fast, less than 15mins of ordering. Atmospher: Cozy place. Standard tables. Fit for people on a date night. Highly recommend!”

“Welcome to Thairiffic Restaurant. Located on Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow, where you’ll find our modern take on traditional Thai cuisine in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. We offer classics like Pad Thai, Thai Green Curry, Thai Red Curry and Tom Yum Soup. Other traditional and authentic Thai dishes also available on our menus include Kapao, Crispy Sea Bass with Mango Salad and Pad Cha. Often we have people having visited Thailand with fond memories of certain dishes that may not be on our menu. In the case there is something off the menu that you’d like tell us and we’d be happy to accommodate where possible.”
