Customer Review Summary
Diners come for the seafood-led plates, and the lobster roll is called sensational by a reviewer who found the small plates menu got better with each dish. Perfectly cooked, chunky fish and chips earns a "one of the best I've ever had" verdict, while others praise the crayfish mac n cheese, gnocchi, clams and a rolled ginger pork. Reviewers describe the food as fresh and delicious, including at a birthday dinner and a wedding meal where guests raved about it. Close behind is the staff, repeatedly called friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. One server explained where the food came from, and a team member brought wine samples. The garden terrace and a Sunday menu with a drink included also get a mention. The one complaint comes from a reviewer who saw people smoking in the enclosed terrace and noted that another staff member did not question it. One couple's visit ended on a warm note when the bar made a replacement cocktail on the house after the first slid off the table.

“Fantastic night celebrating my mum’s birthday. The food was excellent, with a great selection that meant everyone found something they loved. The service really stood out—attentive without being overbearing and everything ran smoothly from start to finish. Christie and Raj were amazing and took great care of us all evening, making the night feel extra special. I would highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning.”

“Defo recommend The Finnieston, west end part of argyle street. The garden terrace is perfect setting for their great food/drinks - reasonably priced too 👍. Special mention for Zoe who helped us chose wine, very knowledgable, and generously brought us several samples - really nice touch. Only issue was people smoking in the enclosed terrace, thought that was banned but another staff member didn’t question it.”
