  “One of our favourite restaurants in Paisley. We visited the restaurant again on Sunday 26 July for dinner and always receive a very warm welcome by staff. We were seated right away and received excellent service, we ordered our drinks and food, and our drinks and starters were brought to our table within 5-10 mins after ordering. Staff are very attentive, menu is fabulous with a great selection of starters, mains and deserts. Food is always delicious, staff go above and beyond! Thanks so much again for a wonderful experience in your restaurant. We would highly recommend a visit!!!”

  “I just finished an early dinner (4:00 sitdown) at Il Pescatore and it was an extremely enjoyable experience. Eli provided my service, and was both very helpful and attentive, plus, quickly validated my menu selections which were all spot-on. I started with the mussels in tomato sauce as an appetizer which were delicious. It was a healthy-sized portion, came out piping hot, and the accompanying tomato sauce was very good. The mussels were also well-sized and very tasty. I followed that up with the fish and chips and thought it was outstanding -- lightly battered and cooked just right. As a tourist, I'm measuring that against recent F&C meals in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Oban and St. Andrews. I thought Il Pescatore's measured up extremely well. One other strength -- the service here was also uniformly attentive and pleasant, without being overbearing. The meal felt completely unrushed and at no point did i have to flag anyone down.. At one point, I dropped a napkin and had a replacement on the table before even thinking of flagging down the service. Their staff is obviouly observant, fully engaged in the dining experience, take pride in their restaurant, and I felt completely valued as a diner while there. Finally, the ambiance (with large windows overlooking the Paisley downtown/town hall) was also delightful. I would return here without reservation and highly recommend it.”

  “Absolutely the go to plaice for fish 😁 cod supper was to die for big white flakey fish in batter you don’t get that quality in most chippys about here that’s for sure. Thx for great food much appreciated and a great service.”

  “Outstanding seafood restaurant! The fish was incredibly fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. The service was excellent, and the staff made us feel very welcome. The atmosphere was relaxing and elegant, making it the perfect place for a special meal. Highly recommended for anyone who loves seafood!”

  “As others have mentioned handy car park opposite, 1 hr is free, which should be sufficient if your in and out. Nice and quick service, food was really tasty and a nice value lunch menu on between 12 and 4pm.”

  “Excellent food and truly outstanding service. Highly recommend the Spaghetti Frutti di Mare and the Ribeye — both were superb. The staff deserve a special mention: friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming from the moment we walked in. They made the whole evening feel effortless. Will definitely be back.”

  “Excellent fish and chips! The fish was fresh, crispy on the outside and perfectly flaky inside. The chips were tasty and freshly cooked. The shop was clean, modern, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Great value for money and definitely worth a visit. I'll be back again soon!"”

  “Great restaurant with a modern touch. It can get noisy due to the hard furnishings, but that being modern. Was visiting Paisley after 42 years it was great to see where i studied and after a long day walking went to restaurant with the family. Staff were great. Nothing was an issue. You want anything all you do is ask. They prefer you to speak up than to walk out and being unhappy. The steak was a bit too alive when asked for a medium. It was whisked away and brought back to perfection. I had Tagliatelle Gamberoni e Pistacchio £21.95 (June 2026) 9 prawns at the time that was value for money given the state of the economy. If you were to twist my arm to give some critism then it would be the none assembled apparatus left out in thelobby on your way to toilets. Other than that. Great place to show off to friends and family”

  “Have been here a couple of times and food has been really good. Has your favourites and a fairly large menu but all done to a high standard. Good drinks list too and extensive wine list. Plenty of parking nearby and public transport takes you close by too. Highly recommended. Second time I was here it was mother's day and despite it being fully booked the standards did not drop. A great reflection of the staff working that day.”
