“Me and my boyfriends favourite place, fresh food and all you can eat !”

“This self-service hot pot place was really good! The staff were all super friendly and helpful, and they cleared plates and brought things out really quickly. Even when it was busy, they still checked on customers and made sure everyone was okay, which made the whole experience feel really comfortable. Everyone was patient and nice the whole time too. The food selection was also great, have lots of meat, seafood, vegetables and other ingredients to choose from, and everything tasted fresh. The soup base was really tasty and overall it felt worth the money. The restaurant was clean and had a nice atmosphere, good for eating with friends or even by yourself. Definitely would come back again!”

“Very nice place for hotpot. Best one in town so far. The price is quite high but you get what you pay. Fresh meat and seafood. The lamb soup and beef tendons are my favorite. The staffs are nice and friendly. Booking is recommended.”

“I’ve been here twice now. The food is fresh and well-prepared, but honestly, nothing really grabbed me or left a lasting impression. Personally, I’d happily make the 11-minute drive to Jay’s BBQ Bar instead — they spoil you with unlimited, huge fresh fruits and a whole variety of desserts, which is such a lovely bonus.”

“Last night after a long stumble through the snow, ice and wind, I met my friend for a few pints in Partick. Once a couple had been sunk and a dram of course, we began to feel a bit more normal I offered dinner and we set off again. All I wanted was something warmimg, delicious and ideally from Asia. Wandered into Baxi Hotpot praying they were still serving and thankfully they were. We got a kind and sweet welcome from the start, the girl explained that the restaurant was all you can eat for a set price per person (this being the weekend £30, it's cheaper by a few quid Mon-Fri) and you just order from the menu on the tablet provided, I was beginning to like the sound of this. We opted for 3 broths and a complete somgasbord of Angus beef, squid, crab claws, king prawns, wontons, braised beef, Scotch lamb, egg noodles mushrooms and god knows what else. All this cooked in the broths then dipped in the hot and sour dipping sauce-which you also make yourself-and then washed down with cold Tiger beer...absolute heaven. I'd go so far to say this was the most comforting, satisfying and delicious meals I've had in ages. Really good quality of ingredients too. Dinner for 2 plus 4 bottles of ice cold Tiger-£75. In today's world and prices for all the different meats and seafood we had, as well as a dessert of mochi and fresh fruit, I'd say that's pretty damn good value and we were left feeling stuffed with a Szechuan scented sweat on our brows, lips tingling, almost on the verge of defeat. Amazing! I've spent a sizeable portion of today thinking about that dinner and how best to make a return. Top notch! 👌”

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers come for the all you can eat hotpot, praising fresh meat and seafood such as Angus beef, squid, prawns and crab claws, cooked in a choice of broths. The spicy broth is called very flavourful, and one diner names the lamb soup and beef tendons as favourites. Close behind is the service, described repeatedly as friendly and attentive, with plates cleared and food brought out quickly even when the place is busy. Several also note the variety of ingredients, including fried tofu skin and wontons, with mochi for dessert, and one diner calls it the most comforting meal in ages. The reservations are modest. One reviewer finds the price quite high but says you get what you pay for, and another, on a second visit, found the food fresh but not memorable and would drive elsewhere for unlimited fruit and desserts. One suggests booking. Diners also remark on a clean room, including the sauce bar, where the condiments are always topped up fully.
