Customer Review Summary
Reviewers return most for the breakfast rolls, with crispy filled rolls, bacon and scrambled eggs, and square sausage with potato scone named most often, and one praising black pudding that was not greasy and the choice of a soft or crispy roll. Close behind is the lunch side, where one couple called the chicken and rice soup probably the best they had tasted, and others mention paninis, cheesecakes and the butcher sausage. Staff come up repeatedly as friendly and willing to go the extra mile, including one customer who orders for large productions and says the shop has accommodated them each time. Several note food arriving fresh and hot by delivery, quick service, and the occasional free coffee or tea. Reviewers describe a busy spot full of tradespeople, mobbed with deliveries at weekends, with outdoor tables for sitting in the sun. No review raises a complaint, and one closes on a customer who grabbed a breakfast while waiting for a son's football match to start.

“Delicious crispy filled rolls for breakfast, reasonable prices, very good quality. £11.75 2x rolls with square sausage, potato scone, flat white and diet coke. Loads of options for lunch too - fresh filled rolls, panini's, salads, burgers, home cooking, specials of the day, chicken curry, cakes etc. Take away options too. Friendly staff. A wee gem of a local place.”
