  “Food was fine, when it eventually arrived. Ordered the wee scottish breakfast and a smoothie and paid upfront (they even asked for a tip at that point). Person that took my order didn't seem very customer friendly to us. Ended up waiting around 40 minutes for the food, would've left the place because of the long wait but since they already charged us, had to wait for the breakfast to finally arrive. We were also very hungry as it was our breakfast. The place didnt seem overly crowded or busy, and no one told us we might have to wait a while. Servers served everyone else well enough and their food arrived in time. No one explained to us why the meals were late nor did they offer compensation. I guess we weren't their preferred customers. Food was ok. We dont usually expect over the top customer service but this was honestly one of the worst experiences we've ever had. Felt extremely unwelcome.”

  “Stopped by for breakfast. We enjoyed the French toast with caramelized bananas with Nutella drizzle. Delicious! And very generous serving size. Staff was very friendly. Highly recommend stopping!”

  “The food very good, which is the main reason to come. However, the ordering system leaves a lot to be desired. You have to get up and order at the counter, which creates an awkward bottleneck when you're standing there, other customers can't pass behind you to reach their seats, resulting in a constant back-and-forth shuffle just to let people through. It feels unnecessarily disruptive for everyone. What makes this even more frustrating is that orders are still written down on paper at the counter anyway, so it would make far more sense to simply have staff come to the tables to take orders, it would be quicker, smoother, and less chaotic for both customers and staff. The wait time is also on the longer side, though that's manageable. Overall, great food let down by an inefficient ordering process. Sort out the system and this place would be much more enjoyable.”

  “This is an absolutely wonderful spot! The matcha is excellent and the pancakes are delicious. The team provides such warm and extra attentive hospitality, even thoughtfully serving rice with a spoon for foreigners who might prefer it that way. Filipinos will definitely adore. A hidden gem worth visiting!”

  “Got the sourdough ham + cheese (added an egg) and a coffee for takeout. Service was great, staff was super friendly and took care of me in a timely manner! Including photos of the sandwich - would recommend!”

  “Me and my partner came across this cafe when looking for breakfast whilst holidaying in Glasgow. We were so surprised at the incredible food and service they have. We loved it so much we came back the next day !! We had the scottish breakfast the first time we went, and the blueberry pancakes and chilli’s chicken wrap the next day. Excellent food and such friendly service the cafe itself is gorgeous too we could spend all day in there.We will definitely be visiting Glasgow again just to eat here !!”

  “Just been in for breakfast and had the Wee Scotty with haggis added, plus coffee and juice for two. Came in just under £40 which is a bit steep for breakfast, however… it was absolutely worth it. One of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had – everything was cooked perfectly, full of flavour. Service was excellent, really friendly and welcoming, and I loved the music too – such a nice atmosphere. Proper treat of a breakfast and somewhere I’d happily go back to.”

  “I was so happy to have randomly come across this caffe. A warm friendly welcome, a great choice on the menu and a fantastic selection of coffee, tea, smoothies and drinks. I ordered the vegetarian breakfast. It was a first class healthy well presented breakfast, compliments to the chef. Particularly the fresh avacado and tasty proper bread not sliced out a cheap bag ! The smoothie and mint tea topped my morning health kick. Thank you Highly recommend to vegetarians and non vegetarians as the menu is varied with great choices. I will be visiting again. It’s only been open for 6 months so the photo of the building is there to show it’s literally a block down from Sauchiehall Street on the corner of Bath street/renfield street.”

  “Genuinely the best pancakes I’ve ever had! Absolutely delicious, fluffy and fresh. My husband had the Benedict which he also really enjoyed. Donna was the star of the show - a brilliant waitress who was very happy to be at her work. She was very attentive and absolutely hilarious! There are other things on the menu we want to try so we will definitely be back!”
