Customer Review Summary

Reviewers return above all for the staff, described as friendly, welcoming and helpful, with one calling them reason enough to come back again and again. Breakfast comes close behind, led by pancakes, including nutella and strawberry, which one diner calls delicious and light. The salt and chilli chicken breakfast, the McSnoozin with its well-cooked eggs, smashed avocado with poached eggs, and eggs benedict on sourdough all draw praise, and several describe the portions as huge or massive. Matcha is called lovely by a couple of diners, one naming it the best they have had, and the tablet and a slab of school cake also get mentions. One parent notes good highchairs. The only complaint comes from a reviewer who asks for the music to be turned down. Another reports that staff made egg free pancakes for their son.

“Best cafe in the east end, bar none. Lovely atmosphere, the food is always perfect! The value for money is crazy, the portions are massive, the coffee is some of the best I’ve ever had. All of the above is great but the selling point of this place is the staff - they are the greatest bunch of people, they alone are enough of a reason to come back again and again!”

“Not been to Shettleston in a while. Found this coffee shop online. So fresh and clean. Spotless toilets. Staff friendly and helpful. Plentiful selection of cakes and tray bakes. Great value for money, we shared a huge slab of school cake. The only thing I would change? Please turn the music down.”
  • Ann Feeney
“Absolutely brilliant café! The food was outstanding — fresh, tasty, and beautifully done I had the smashed avacado with poached eggs The service was just as good. The staff were friendly, efficient, and made the whole visit a pleasure.”

  • Daniel M
“The McSnoozin is unreal. Not sure what they do to their eggs but I'm here for it. Staff are lovely and friendly. We've been in twice with the little one and were well looked after, they've a couple of good highchairs. Perfect spot for some breakfast or lunch.”
