About Slouch
Slouch is a gastropub on Bath St in Glasgow, at number 203-205, with live music every night of the week and free entry. The food runs late into the night, so the kitchen keeps working after the bands start. The menu includes pizzas and loaded chorizo fries, and the cocktail list includes a White Russian and a Dirty Daisy. The venue divides into two sections, one with louder music and one quieter for conversation, and booths and stool seating give groups places to settle. Tables can be reserved. Dogs are welcome.

Customer Review Summary
Live music anchors most reviews, in a late-night bar open until 3am with one louder section and one quieter for conversation. Reviewers describe the staff as friendly, and bartenders get credit for cocktails, with the White Russian and Dirty Daisy named as favourites, though one finds the cocktails pretty sweet. Close behind are the loaded fries, including the chorizo version, along with the pizza deal and food served until 2am. Also mentioned are comfy seats, steep stairs down into the venue and very tiny toilets. Food is the most detailed complaint. One diner got undercooked, doughy pizza after a long delay and says the manager refused responsibility. Another reports a friend's pizza was undercooked and a burger tasted strange, though the veggie burger was enjoyed. Others say the bouncers aren't always nice and the phone is rarely answered. One reviewer without ID was served food but told to leave once the pizza arrived, while friends at the bar were never asked.

“I have got to say that Slouch is really enjoyable whether it be at the start of your night out for a couple of drinks or going there nearer the end. It is a live music venue which is awesome if you like a show while you have a catch up with your pal, meet up with friends or on that first date. They have booths, stool seating areas and even a couple of comfy single seater couches outside. One thing that really impressed me was that they offer your first can of juice free which is good if your not drinking but even better if you are and need that little pick me up, pizzas are buy 1 get 1 free and the loaded fries are top notch, they're like Pringles, once you have a taste you'll want to stuff your face. They also serve this great food until 2am which is why i said it makes a great place to end your night and have a good munch before heading home.”

“Great late night venue. Has two sections, one where the music is louder and one where it's a bit quieter so you can have an easier conversation. Drinks are reasonably priced, staff are nice and its open till 3am. Was a lot less crowded that stuffy than some of the other bars that stay open past 1am.”

“Was out for a friends birthday here and I went to get drinks and food for a friend and myself. I didn’t bring ID because I do not drink alcohol anyway and thought I did not need it. I was asked for ID and I said I did not have any. The guy at the bar said he couldn’t serve me, but then when my friend went to get their ID, he said I can pay for my own drink and the food, just not my friend’s drink. I said ok that’s completely fine, and paid for my stuff. After I paid he told me that once I had my pizza I had to leave. I honestly would have preferred if they told me to leave in the first place but instead I just wasted a load of money to sit in such an unwelcoming, uncomfortable environment. I was disappointed with the nasty attitude coming from this guy, and him repeatedly coming to our table seeing when I was going to leave. When my other friends went to the bar none of them were ID’d. This genuinely ruined the night out for us. We went somewhere else after, and I was turned away very politely, which heavily contrasted with the way I was treated at Slouch. I do not recommend this place to anyone, an absolute waste of money.”

“We had booked the table and arrived with no issue, upon looking to order was advised of a 30 minute wait for food due to a pre-order, fine, we ended up waiting nearly an hour for undercooked doughy raw pizza... The manager at the time refused to accept responsibility, provided me the Info email which I have since sent a complaint email to, so far no response. I even paid for the rest of my party, still money out of my pocket for the insult how poorly this was handled. I can't recommend giving money to a business that treats customers so poorly.”

“I used to really like the food in here (for what it is), but the burger I had yesterday was beyond awful. It somehow tasted like they'd mixed in some poor quality Donner meat in with the beef or something, it really was one of the weirdest burgers I've ever had and I really didn't feel all that good afterwards. The poor quality/weird taste aside, it felt a bit ridiculous to pay £24 just for a basic pub burger and 4 chicken tenders (no drink at this price). That said, portion size with the fries was decent. My friend said his pizza was very undercooked and tasted a bit bad also. Other friend enjoyed the veggie burger though. The last time I ate here, I had food when the kitchen was closed, and it was awful. You expect less when the kitchen isn't staffed, but I think they've really let it go sadly. The staff are truly lovely though, and they couldn't have been nicer. I'll probably end up there again, but definitely not for food.”
