“Booked our anniversary dinner here for the 26/08/26, drove 30 mins to get there and the whole place was shut. They’ve only posted today 27/08 that they are closed for refurbs…. If you knew you were closing why accept our booking? No response to emails, phone goes to voicemail and comments turned off on their instagram after I commented. We had taken the time to arrange childcare and everything for this dinner. How anyone can run a business this way is beyond me.”

“I discovered this place after seeing it on IoanaEats’ page, and I’m happy I gave it a try. We’ve been here three times already, and every visit has been just as good as the first one. The chef does an amazing job—everything we’ve ordered has been full of flavor and cooked perfectly. The staff are always welcoming, friendly, and attentive. The service is excellent, and considering the quality of the food, the prices are very reasonable. Thank you for finding a table for us even though we didn’t have a reservation 🙂.”

“Had a brilliant visit to Finsbury Chop on Woodlands Road. The food was outstanding — the burgers were excellent, the Glasgow gravy was unreal, and the mac and cheese was proper comfort food. The kedgeree fish cakes were also a highlight and really well done. A special mention to Orla and Sara, who were both fantastic. Friendly, welcoming, and really attentive throughout. Great food, lovely atmosphere, and brilliant staff, fabulous to our dogs Zoey and Theadora — would definitely recommend and will be back!”
