Customer Review Summary
Watching the football is the draw reviewers raise most, with one describing a match day with friends and another praising a spacious bar with screens for the sport. Several call it an old-school, classic Glasgow pub with a mix of students, locals and regulars propping up the bar, and friendly staff come up repeatedly, including a bartender who recommended a great beer and servers who kept food and drink coming quickly. Food earns close behind. One diner singles out a steak sandwich, another liked the macaroni, and a couple who only meant to have a drink stayed to eat after seeing another table's plate and found it delicious. The one recurring-style complaint is small and specific: a reviewer disliked having to enter name, mobile number and email to connect to the wifi. One reviewer booked part of the upstairs mezzanine for a retirement gathering, praising the bar service and a buffet the chefs presented well.

“A welcoming traditional Glasgow pub with plenty of character and a friendly atmosphere. The classic interior, good selection of drinks, and central location make it a great place to relax after exploring the city. Whether you're stopping in for a quick drink or spending the evening with friends, the service is welcoming and the atmosphere is enjoyable. Well worth a visit”

“Everything was good. I visited there during a football match with friends and vibe was awesome. We really enjoyed the place. Food and drink was awesome. Only thing I didn't like was that you have to enter all your details name, mobile and email to connect to their wifi.”

“Well, when I was walking down the street, a bald tattooed man and a man with hair in worse condition looked at me and laughed at me. The tattooed bald man made a strange gesture with his hand as if there was something on my head. And I only had my own hair transplant in 2021 and 2023. Maybe that bothered him? It would be nice if this liquor store didn't give seats to people who are busy thinking nonsense on the street since Walking People! 2026.05.23.”
