About Jinty McGuinty's
Jinty McGuinty's is a small Irish pub at 29 Ashton Lane in Glasgow, close to Glasgow University. The family has run it since 1991, and the doors open daily. Live music runs every night, with a solo acoustic guitarist and a band that sets up from 7pm. Guinness is poured at the bar inside, and the beer garden has a second bar of its own, so drinks are served both indoors and out.

Customer Review Summary
The pint of Guinness is what reviewers raise most, with one calling it among the best they have had and another describing a great pint of the black stuff. Close behind is the live music, from a solo acoustic guitarist on a quiet Sunday to singers on other nights, which reviewers pair with a relaxed, warm atmosphere. The beer garden and the bar outside draw praise on sunny days, and the crowd is described as mostly university students rather than tourists. One reviewer singles out a great long vodka and friendly bar staff. The main complaint is from a birthday party that says a staff member asked them to leave their table at 6:40 for a band set to play at 9:30, even though a sign said the area was reserved from 7. A band member then said she would set up anyway at 6:50, and the reviewer felt rushed through their drinks. Another reviewer notes the bins in the women's bathrooms are sharp. Reviewers describe it as a tiny pub, and one calls it never a dull night.

“Lovely place to have a beer, when the sun is out. Not very touristy, mostly students from uni here. Very relaxed athmosphere, theres a bar inside and outside to get your drinks. Really recommend if you're looking at Glasgow University and want a pint after.”

“Traditional Irish pub in Glasgow's West End. Live music every night, a busy beer garden, and a proper pint of Guinness. Still family-run, still the best Guinness, still the best craic. Glasgow’s West End Jinty’s, since 1991 Sláinte!”
