  “Had a great lunch here today with my parents, partner and two dogs. The place was nicely decorated, the staff were friendly and helpful - Shay was on the bar and gave us great customer service. The garden was nice and spacious and good to give the dogs a bit of a walk. We enjoyed the food too!”

  “Came here early on a Saturday evening, it wasn't busy, but staff utterly useless. The online ordering QR code didn't work. Had to order at the bar. Our table (which was reserved) hadn't been set, there were no menus or cutlery, all the staff were AWOL so we took things ourselves from other tables. When our food arrived the portions were quite small and the food wasn't particularly hot. The staff dumped the food and disappeared again, didn't offer any sauces so I had to go back to the bar to ask for those. Nobody came back to check on us to see if everything was okay. I ordered a medium rare steak and it was closer to well done. They never came to clear our plates so we didn't bother to stay for a dessert, they lost money and we won't go back so have lost repeat customers too. The tables around us had dirty plates that hadn't been cleared. The service was probably the worst I've experienced in a pub or restaurant.”

  “Very quiet on a weekday, perfect for lunch with family - you can hear yourself think as you tuck in to your food! Dog-friendly pub (which always goes down well with dog owners like myself) with a lovely garden area. Staff are very welcoming and friendly. Clean establishment with a nice and cosy atmosphere. The dog and I will definitely be back!”

  “I came here for a Christmas Meal and the food was lovely and hot. The staff were brilliant. We went here again last night and the food again was lovely. The dinning area was nice and quiet. The photo is our Christmas meal one”

  “Two of us visited for Sunday lunch. We both chose the turkey roast dinner. Our food came out after 25minutes which was very reasonable especially considering how busy they were. Our food was served hot on pre-warmed hot plates, a nice touch. The portions were generous, everything was well cooked and very tasty. We would return.”

  “Pub in Wigmore, Gillingham,Kent. Part of the Greene King group. A large inn with a sports bar area,restaurant, general bar area and a garden. Has large TV screens around the pub showing sports including premier league football. They have a good menu with some great deals like a selection of meals at 2 for £12.99. They also have special offers on specific days like fish & chips for just £6 on Fridays and a good sized Sunday roast for £9. There a seniors menus Monday to Friday before 5pm where you can get 2 courses for £6.49 and 3 courses for just £1 more. There is also a good children's menu. The pub has a nice friendly atmosphere and the restaurant and main pub area are both comfortable. They have a quiz night and occasional live music. All staff I have interacted with have always been friendly and helpful. The pub has a good sized car park, you just need to enter your cars REG into the pad inside. There are 3 charging points for electric vehicles and so e spaces for disabled folks. I would say the pub is suitable for all and a family meal will not break the bank.
