  “Popped in to grab something to eat while working round the corner. Got a kebab wrap with salad. The lad asked what I wanted and what I did not. Service was quick and friendly with a bit banter. Even got little discount not sure why. Wrap was a very good size and top notch. Keep it up lads”

  “Just popped into bilals after a round of golf and the Mrs had been out all day. Had the pleasure of meeting bilal who was a top guy. Great service and better food, Mrs had Donna kebab and I had chicken kebab, the portions were large and very tasty. Also had Nutella milkshakes which were banging. Masala sauce to dip the chips in was so good too. Will be back after our trip to Spain in the next week”

  “Okay so i ordered the first time (desserts only) absolutely FANTASTIC!brilliant portions, beautiful flavours! Beautiful infact altogether! Delivery was abit late but understandable given the tyne bridge. I then ordered pizza and chips and desserts a second time about a week or so later, we dont usually but lifes been hectic. I decided to preorder for a time to try and get it on time as we go to bed early, like grandads haha, unfortunately the food turned up cold, 50 minutes late, my cheesecake had melted, we ended up having to reheat everything, and it made it a bit crap. Gutted as the first time was amazing. Did call to resolve the issue, was offered a redelivery but it was busy and offered a discount with free cheesecake instead which ill be ringing for over the weekend. Appreciated their help to resolve the issue and look forward to next time hopefully with hot food and my cheesecake not sat on top of the pizza to melt😳. Not mad cos its too good food and shit happens, just glad to have it resolved.”

  “Bilal’s Takeaway in Gateshead is an absolute gem. Hands down one of the best tikka pizzas and tikka kebabs you’ll find. The tikka pizza is unreal – loads of flavour, generous toppings, perfectly cooked chicken, and just the right balance of spice. The base is spot on too, not soggy and full of flavour. Tikka kebabs are just as good: juicy, well-seasoned, and clearly made with quality ingredients. Great value for money, consistently good food, and always hits the spot.”

  “Orderd something different and I can honestly say we were not disappointed Food was 10/10 service was great presentation was fantastic best meal I've had yet! We got the plain garlic bread balti mix massala nan kabab with salad chilli garlic and chips Food was hot cooked to perfection fast delivery highly recommend all definitely be ordering this meal again thanks a lot 🙏”

  “Place was crap. Charged extra for an item of food we didnt get. Then proceeded to give us a snickers/nutty milkshake instead of a different one even though it was specified that the person recieving it had a nut allergy. Food was greasy and place is cramped. Gave is food poisoning”

  “I am a regular customer of Bilals and this food is always delivered before the estimated time and piping hot. The food is always delicious and generous portions the chicken tikka kebab is full of chicken and not just chips like most restaurants! I got a 12 inch pizza, 2 chicken tikka wraps, a bag of chips and two cans of pop on offer for 14 pound with Uber eats benefits! My kids love this restaurant and we wouldn't go anywhere else now! I don't normally leave reviews but they definitely deserve it! Well done Bilals and thank you for your good service”

  “The Kebab was ok. Quantity was good but it wasnt very delicious. I will give it 5/10. Staff was friendly but during whole discussion they were paying less attention to my order. Looks like they were preoccupied with other things. Overall it was ok.”

  “I’ve never had a wetter kebab in my life. I’m not sure if it was the salad or the sauce but it was inexplicably soggy. The donner meat is anaemic. The chicken tikka was just dry sliced chicken breast. I’d say go thin base for the pizza. It’s normal kebab shop pizza, so quite greasy. The chips are nice. Two kebab wraps a pizza, chips and two drinks for £20 (excluding delivery) would have been good value for money if the wraps were edible. Delivery took over an hour.”

  “Delivery Driver Threw, i say again threw our order out the window of his car and sped off. Did not realise it was our takeaway until I saw the milkshake leaking over the road! when I took it up over the phone they hung up. A classic tactic for shady takeaways! A hygiene rating of the 3!! So my mistake. Don’t go near this place with a barge pole! The 5 star reviews look like it was written for a English exam lol”
