“Went for Sunday Lunch whilst in the area! Carvery 10/10 great value for money. Cost £65 for 2 large and 2 small lunches, drinks & 1 pudding. Very good system running. Would recommend going early, it opens at 11.30 & people where queuing from 11.15am. Definitely recommend. Also has a play park & a soft play upstairs which I think was £3 pp.”

“Found this place on Google whilst staying at Haven Reighton Sands. Definitely worth venturing down the road for a decent meal and service. The staff were welcoming, helpful & professional. The food was lovely & a normal wait time. Our son had his first steak & ate every single bit of it, nothing left on his plate 😋. The lasagne was perfect & the kids desserts were more like adult portions. The pub is really spacious and we sat at the far end of the pub which was light decor and comfortable. The pub also has a pool table. Recommended!”

“Located nearby busy Filey town and its convenient to stop on your way back from the beach. Unfortunately we haven't stay here over night, so can not review rooms but we had early dinner. Service was good, staff were very nice. Good choice …”

“Visited The Royal Oak last night with the family for our child’s 5th birthday. My wife and I had the steak pie and fish and chips—both really good, decent portions and well cooked. Drinks were spot on too. Much more relaxed than places like Haven, which can feel a bit overwhelming, so it was nice to go somewhere more easygoing and local. We weren’t planning on having dessert, but the staff kindly offered some for the kids because of the birthday, and even brought it out with a candle, which was a nice touch and appreciated. We ended up stopping by again the next day for a pint while the kids played in the park outside the pub, which worked out really well. There is also a soft play upstairs which we didn't end up using as the weather was nice. Overall, a really solid experience and somewhere we’d happily return to.”
