Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often praise the food, calling it tasty and delicious, with one first-time diner singling out the Indian dishes for authentic flavours. “We visited for the first time tonight for Indian food - simply WOW! We enjoyed the food so much - so delicious and authentic flavours! Also we visited with our baby and found the service to be extremely kind and friendly. It had a very homely and family friendly atmosphere! We’re already looking forward to visiting again :)”

“I felt the need to give you one star only after a negative experience this morning with one of your waiting staff. My husband and I wanted to pop in for a coffee and something to eat after shopping in Heavitree. As it was a lovely day we decided to sit outside ( there were no menus on the table, but through passed experiences I know that they are brought out) It looked busy but we were more than happy to wait to be given a menu. There were a couple of waiting staff sat outside ( I took it that they were their break, which was fine by me) After a little while both staff stood up to start work. The lady in question walked up to us, no good morning or a nice welcome but said in quite an abrupt manner " do you know what you want"? How could we? we didn't have a menu? When I informed her that I didn't know and requested a menu, her response was " I already said I will get you one" Two things wrong with this....1) She hadn't said she would and 2) What gives her the right to talk to customers in this manner?? I know your cafe is not Michelin star rated but I do expect some courtesy. I am not the type of person to complain, but felt that I have needed to in this circumstance. The most concerning thing about this whole negative experience was that she hadn't thought that she had been rude which makes me think that this is how she treats all your customers. Not acceptable in any way, shape or form. Suffice to say, we did not stay to eat but we were welcomed in the Park Life café instead. Just an idea ... Maybe some of your staff would benefit from some hospitality training?”
