Customer Review Summary

Empanadas draw the most praise, including a pabellón version and one filled with beef and plantains, and one reviewer says they have been dreaming of them since. Close behind are the gambas pil pil, named by two diners, and the mojitos, called unbelievably delicious. Others single out the mini cachapa, shredded chicken street tacos, chicken quesadillas, flan, banana flambé and chocolate fudge cake. Reviewers describe the cooking as homemade and like a proper Venezuelan home cooked meal. Several mention friendly staff, an attentive owner, many gluten free options, great music and a cozy room. Opinion on prices is split, with one reviewer calling them incredibly reasonable and another a little pricey. One reviewer found the small room hard for conversation because of a very loud table, loud music and a blender going off repeatedly by the counter. A parent thanks the team for serving their children's food separately on request.

“Great food (many Glutenfree options), very friendly staff (Mercedes) and unbelievebly delicious Mojitos. I would of loved to try the Pina Colada too, but i had to have a second Mojito as it was so good.”

“Thank you for looking after us and taking all the additional requests for how food was served separately (due to particular kiddos!). I would especially recommend the chicken quesadillas, which my son gave a score of 11/10 and the gambas pil pil, as well as the chocolate fudge cake for dessert which my daughter LOVED!”

“Delicious Latin American food at a true Stockbridge gem. My friend and I came here to celebrate and only wish we’d discovered it sooner as it is easily some of our favourite food in the area. It was our first time trying Latin American cuisine and we were blown away. Everything we ordered was fresh, full of flavour, and arrived quickly. The prices are also incredibly reasonable, especially compared to other spots nearby charging more for less. We started with chips and guac, tequeños, mini cachapa, and shredded chicken street tacos. Every dish was excellent, but the mini cachapa and tacos were real standouts. The corn-based elements, especially the tortillas and crispy corn breading, were unlike anything we’d had before and packed with flavour. For mains, we had gambas pil pil, pabellón arepas, and pabellón empanadas. Again, everything impressed, but the empanadas were the highlight and have been dreaming of them since. We finished with house red, mojitos, and mezcal shots, which was a perfect end. We were completely stuffed by the end, but would have happily ordered more if we had any capacity to. Friendly, welcoming staff and a great atmosphere. We feel lucky to live nearby and will definitely be back to work our way through the rest of the menu!”
