  “Extremely disappointing experience at Tuk Tuk Edinburgh. The food quality was very poor and definitely not worth the price charged. We ordered a paneer dish, and it contained only four small pieces of paneer despite being charged full price for the main dish. The portion sizes were extremely disappointing. What made the experience worse was that the rice served with the meal appeared undercooked, which was unacceptable. Poorly cooked food can cause stomach discomfort and raises concerns about food quality and hygiene standards. The service was equally disappointing. During billing, there was confusion about whether the restaurant operates as a tapas-style venue, and this was never properly explained when ordering. It felt misleading to be charged for multiple small portions without clear communication beforehand. There was very little attention to customer hospitality. Staff showed little concern about customer satisfaction, and even basic touches that many restaurants provide were absent. Overall, the service felt focused on charging customers rather than providing a good dining experience. Sadly, this was one of the worst dining experiences I have had in Edinburgh. Poor food quality, tiny portions, undercooked rice, confusing pricing, and disappointing service made this visit a complete waste of money. I would not recommend this restaurant and will not be returning.”

  “Ordered garlic naan, tandouri rotti, sagg tofu and daal makni. Very tasty, spicy level was on point. I was expecting the garlic on the naan to be cooked with the naan but still it tasted good and fresh. We also had beetroot bhaji also tasted really good. Each portion is enough for one person and this was clearly explained by the waiter when we ordered. Staff were nice and explains well the menu. I'd come again if i ever come back to edinburgh 😁”

  “Wow - where do I start. If you are looking for something fun and different, I highly recommend here for the Indian Sunday Roast , Its like an explosion of flavours going off in the mouth . For drinks i recommend the fruity non alcoholic Rani's kiss . If you love fruit drinks this is for you . Highly recommend the Beetroot Bhajis and the Puri Yoghurt bombs to start . Mains the Lamb Chop Roast and the Paneer Tikka roast . Exceptional. Loved the Gunpowder potato's and sautéed vegetables with the salsa beans . Any room for dessert ? I recommend the Vegan Mango and Coconut cake . 2 courses £23 or 3 course £25 10/10 for service and food .”

  “Food 5/5 | Service 5/5 | Ambience 5/5 We went there on new year eve with my husband and daughter. We pre booked our seats. We ordered too many dishes as we were amazed by the choice of Indian dishes on the menu. We ordered following starters Kurkuri Bhindi Puri Yogurt Bombs Samosa Chaat Grilled Achari Prawn Chicken Taco Chicken Taco was such a unique concept. Mini malabar parantha served in way of Taco with spicy chicken filling. Samosa Chaat and Dahi Puri had that authentic Indian chaat flavours. Bhindi was crunchy and delicious. Prawn had subtle mustard taste which made it more flavourful. For main course Daal Makhni Butter Chicken Tuk Tuk staff chicken curry Garlic Nan Everything was perfect in terms of masalas, salt, spices. Daal Makhni was so creamy and had perfect smoky flavours. Chicken curry was well balanced with flavours. Portion size of perfect compared to price. A must place to go when craving for Indian food. A spacious restaurant with cozy vibes.”

  “We were here to grab dinner. Amazing restaurant for delicious Indian street food. The staff were friendly, quick service. The portions are somewhat smaller but this is also mentioned in the menu card to order 2-3 dishes per person depending on your appetite. Prices are reasonable. Definitely recommend if you want to try Indian street food.”
