Customer Review Summary

Yogurt puri bombs come up most, described as packed with filling and loved by several diners. Butter chicken is close behind, called delicious, rich in flavor and perfectly cooked by some. One reviewer found it less creamy and more heavily spiced than the American version and still prefers the creamier style. A lamb curry is called the best one diner has ever had, and others name the chana masala, chicken tikka, alu gobhi and biryani, with the mango lassi singled out as delicious. Reviewers call the room fun, colorful and lively, the staff friendly and welcoming, and the service fast. The food is described as authentic and boldly spiced. One reviewer wishes people who do not eat halal had an option, since the menu is halal, and another says the unusual cuisine may not suit everyone's taste. One family reports the kids enjoyed the rani's kiss lemonade, and another found the portions bigger than they look.

“Tuktuk has left us with fond memorabilia that we’ll cherish until eternity. Food that has changed our tastebuds and a cuisine that will leave us with no appetite for any other kind. We have thoroughly enjoyed the service from the waiters/waitresses and also the phenomenal style from each individual.”

“A fun, colorful, and casual spot with a lively atmosphere. The service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout the meal. What stood out most to me was the food. Compared with the Indian restaurants I’m used to in the U.S., the flavors here felt more authentic and more boldly spiced, which I really enjoyed. The mango lassi was especially delicious and definitely worth ordering. I always judge an Indian restaurant by its butter chicken since it’s my go-to dish. While I enjoyed it, this version was different from what I’m accustomed to in America. It was less creamy and richer in spices, making it a more traditional interpretation. Personally, I still prefer the creamier style I’m used to, but I appreciated experiencing a different take on this classic dish. Overall, I’d happily come back to try more of the menu.”
