  “First time I’ve been to the restaurant and wishing I’d gone sooner. The food is absolutely delicious and the portion sizes spot on. The staff were attentive (but not overly so) and ensured that we had everything we needed. Thoroughly recommend a visit. You’ll leave full and feel you’ve definitely got value for money.”

  “My party of nine was made very welcome, with attentive service, excellent food and great value. The menu had a huge choice, especially the starters, and there was a big choice of unique vegetarian dishes too. Well worth a visit.”

  “First time visiting here will definitely be returning. The food is exceptional all 5 really enjoyed their meals the Dhaba36 Chicken main rates as one of my all time best curries the restaurant is clean and well presented and the staff are friendly and attentive all in all a first rate dining experience.”

  “Very good experience overall. I only tried Indian food couple of times, not too much experience, but I’m sure the food here is top in my heart. We had Amritsari fish, butter chicken, a lamb shank Rogan Josh, and some naan. The food was absolutely tasty, loved the butter chicken. Service was nice too. Waiter was kind. Plate was warm, wet tissue was warm, very enjoyable. Feels like getting casual fine dining service and yet the atmosphere is quite relaxing and cosy. When feeling like just go somewhere to relax and enjoy the food, it’s a good place to go to. Please keep up the good work!”

  “The Naan was lovely and the rice was good also. I ordered the dhaba 36 chicken as it was the signature house curry, it was more like soup than a curry and was pretty tasteless. Disappointing spending 40 quid on two currys when I could have got the same quality in a ready meal for half the price.”

  “I visited Dhaba36 in Loanhead with my family and we had a great evening. We ordered kale chaat, amritsari fish, chilli paneer, soya chaap, butter chicken and dal makhni. Everything was full of flavour and the portions were noticeably bigger than what you usually get around Edinburgh, which was a nice surprise. What really made the visit stand out was the service. The team was attentive, welcoming and made the whole experience feel relaxed and enjoyable. Good food is important, but the way we were looked after took the meal to another level. I’m already looking forward to going back. Thank you team 🙏🏼”

  “We had a family meal here (9 of us). Food was excellent. Perfect portion sizes. Really flavourful. The lamb was tender, not dry. Service was very attentive and friendly. We'd recommend the Kind Prawn tandoori starter. Also Lamb Kadai and Lamb Dhaba36.”
