  “Can be quite hit and miss. I’m starting to think maybe I should stop coming to Smokeys. The thing is when it’s done right though it is lovely but I will explain.. On my most recent visit, the chicken was very burnt with black bits (I should've checked the bag before getting home to be fair). There was another time where the chicken didn't taste or look very fresh, the next day I didn't feel great. I normally order chicken thighs, with rice and salad. I do like how much you can customise your order. The staff do seem helpful. But please do take note that if you can see lots of black on the chicken it is clearly burnt - so don't serve it up. I have to say though there have been plenty of times where I've been in and the food has been great... so this is why I'm not sure on this place?”

  “⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Five stars to our favorite takeaway spot in Doncaster, Smokey’s! Their kebabs and grilled chicken are absolutely the best in town, always cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The food is consistently delicious, fresh, and great value for money. Service is quick, and the staff are friendly and welcoming every time we visit. We’ve ordered from here many times, and it never disappoints. Definitely our go-to place for tasty grilled food and takeout nights. Highly recommended!”

  “First time visiting, i've been to a few places up Netherhall road, it's definitely the place to go for food. I've tried many places for kebabs, but always looking for something better. Me and my husband loved what we ordered, we will definitely be back. The salad was all fresh, you can tell it was all washed. The rice tasted so different, more flavour to it, again really nice. I loved the fact you can personalise your order, we will certainly be back. The chilli sauce wasn't spicy it was more depth of flavour, very well made. Keep on doing what you're doing!”

  “I ordered the fried chicken burger meal from Smokey’s and it was amazing! The chicken was super crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. The fries were golden and crunchy, and the new box looked really good – makes the whole meal feel special. My friend tried the salmon with rice and salad and said it was cooked perfectly and really fresh. We were both impressed – definitely coming back!”

  “Best turkish food I’ve ate in UK!!! Been in many places but here I found the best kebab in UK! Grills are cooked as they should, very tasty. And the donner kebab is fantastic! Prices are the same as the most kebab places but the quality of the food is the best! Definetly I’ll travel back here to eat again. Keep it up”

  “Absolutely fantastic food. Yesterday, I had the Piri-piri half chicken, rice, and salad. It was superb. I also recommend the mixed grill and the kebab wrap or salmon. Genuinely, I have not had one bad meal over the last e years of visiting here. The best Turkish restaurant outside of London and Leicester! All at a respectable price also.”

  “I recently ordered a mixed grill kebab and a 12-inch pepperoni pizza, and both were delicious. The mixed grill kebab had a good variety of meats, including chicken, lamb, and beef. The meats were all cooked perfectly and were very flavorful. The kebab also came with a generous portion of rice and salad. The pepperoni pizza was also very good. The pizza base was thick enough to offer value and crispy, and the toppings were generous. The pepperoni was fresh and flavorful, and the cheese was melted perfectly. Overall, I was very impressed with the food. It was delicious, the prices were reasonable, and the service was friendly. I would recommend . However, I did have one small issue with my order. The rice that came with the mixed grill kebab was different than the rice I have had from Smokey's Grill in the past. I think they may have changed the recipe, as it now tastes like ambrosia creamy rice pudding. I would prefer the previous recipe, as it was more flavorful and complemented the kebab better. Other than that, I had a great experience at Smokey's Grill. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious and affordable kebab or pizza, amongst other things.”
