Customer Review Summary

Turkish breakfast is the draw reviewers raise most, called fresh, tasty and nicely presented, with one repeat visitor also praising the cappuccinos and the vegetarian options. Close behind is the grilled meat and fresh bread, which a family says is cooked to perfection. Others single out the Antep special, a fresh Greek salad and tasty Turkish tea. Several mention friendly staff, and one says a server brought out lots of dishes to try. One regular says everyone they have brought over the past year loved it and never had a bad meal. Pide is the recurring weak spot. One diner called it terrible and noted that lahmacun and pide are made from the same dough, while another found the sucuklu pide a bit salty. The same critical review describes the owner as rude and says they will not return, after a shashlik ordered for a child arrived with fries and meat instead of the rice and vegetables they expected.

“I’ve been here twice for their delicious Turkish breakfast, and it’s honestly the best I’ve had in England. It’s £15 per person (excluding drinks), which feels well worth it for the quality. The cappuccinos are excellent too, better than most of the fancy cafés I’ve visited. The restaurant itself is cosy, nicely decorated, and very clean. The toilets are spotless, which is always reassuring. I’m vegetarian, and there were great options for me. The ladies who served us were friendly, welcoming, and very helpful. I would highly recommend this place 💚”
  • Murray Harmer
“We cannot recommend this restaurant more highly. The service and quality are second to none. As a family run business they are so genuine, hard working and we always feel extra welcome. We regularly look forward to our next visit. Everyone loves grilled meat, fresh bread and more cooked to perfection and served with care and attention 😋”
