  “Derby is a bit far afield for us to dine out, but our daughter insisted that she take us to 7. I had pork medallions while my wife and daughter had salmon; all cooked perfectly. The pork was the most tender and tasty I have had in years. Puddings were just as good, the wine excellent, and all at very reasonable prices. No wonder the place was packed, even on a Thursday lunchtime.”

  “Such a lovely spot for brunch in Derby! The atmosphere is fantastic, especially the outdoor seating on a sunny day. The interior is stylish and relaxed too. Prices are very reasonable for the quality, and my smoked salmon with scrambled eggs on toast was delicious — fresh, generous and really well done. A great place for a relaxed weekend brunch. I’ll definitely be back!”

  “Seven truly deserves five stars! I visited to celebrate my birthday, and it was one of the best dining experiences I've had in a long time. Even though it was an ordinary weekday afternoon, the restaurant was busy, which speaks for itself. The interior is beautiful, modern, and elegant, with a luxurious feel while still being warm and comfortable. The restaurant is thoughtfully divided into different areas, making it feel spacious even when it's full. The food was absolutely outstanding. I ordered the chicken, and it literally melted in my mouth. The vegetables were perfectly cooked, and the sauce was incredible. My friends ordered the meat medallions, and they couldn't stop talking about how delicious they were. Every dish looked amazing and tasted even better. The menu has a fantastic selection of dishes. Everything sounded so good that I already want to come back and try more. The cocktails were also excellent and beautifully presented. Although the restaurant looks very upscale, the prices are surprisingly reasonable for the quality of the food, the service, and the overall experience. I highly recommend Seven to anyone looking for amazing food, a beautiful atmosphere, and excellent service. I will definitely be coming back!”

  “Excellent service and equally Excellent food. A party of 14 for a 40th Brithday and from start to finish a great night made so by the staff and outstanding food. In particular Louie. A young man who could not have done anymore to accommodate us all. Fully engaged with everyone in the party, laughed and chatted along without missing a beat in his service. A relaxed atmosphere made more so by his superb service and personal interactions. Cannot recommend highly enough,”

  “My partner and I visited for a Valentine’s dinner. When we arrived, we discovered they were only offering a set menu for the evening, which was a little disappointing as this wasn’t clearly stated on the website when booking. The menu choice was decent, although my partner felt it was quite limited, especially as it was heavily seafood-based and he doesn’t eat seafood. There were alternative options available, including steak. We opted for the three-course menu with a glass of champagne included. Our starters were nice enough, though nothing particularly memorable. For the mains, I had the lobster and chips, while my partner chose the steak with chicken and chips. Unfortunately, his meal was overcooked and quite dry. On a positive note, the cocktail I ordered was lovely. The service was friendly and attentive throughout the evening. The atmosphere was romantic, albeit a little noisy as it was a busy night. The restaurant has been newly refurbished, and the dimmed lighting and twinkly lights did add a charming touch. Overall, it was a pleasant evening with some highlights, but a few areas could be improved.”

  “We came in as a large party to celebrate a birthday and the staff could not of done more for us. The bar staff were incredibly friendly and a good laugh and our waiter, George, was very patient and accommodating. All of us loved our meals and we will definitely be returning.”
