Customer Review Summary

Diners most often return for the home made coffee cake, singling it out as a standout alongside the sausage and egg cob and bacon and egg cob, praised as perfectly cooked and fresh. The tea room’s bright, airy space with whimsical decorations and well-spaced tables earns repeated mention, as does the friendly, chatty service and the good array of handmade cakes on display. Several note the cleanliness, level access, and ample room between tables, making it comfortable for groups and those with mobility needs. A few report minor drawbacks: one found the atmosphere very quiet, another had part of a jacket potato that was hard, and a window seat felt a bit cold, prompting coats to stay on.

I've visited this tea room on numerous occasions , breakfast and afternoon tea specifically. The food has always been great, there's always a friendly smile from the staff and a good standard of cleanliness as well. If you haven't yet been ,I would definitely recommend you do.

Visited here with my elderly sister. Level access which was a must as my sister's mobility is poor. Plenty of room between tables. It was nice and clean including toilets. Good choice of food for lunch and good sized portions. Nice chatty lady served us and prepared food. Only 4 stars for atmosphere as it was very quiet, but would visit again

The owner is very friendly, place is cosy and warm, food is delicious and all home made. Loved it. Went for a morning coffee in the weekend and couldn't resist their coffee cake

Popped in for a cuppa with my elderly parents. Hadn't been before. Lovely bright tea room with well spaced tables. Served by a lovely lady that chatted with us. Didn't sample any food ourselves this time but there was a good array of handmade cakes on show. Will definitely return.

How this listing is sourced

Where the data comes from
Name, address, hours, contact details, amenities, ratings and review counts come from the business's publicly available profile data — not from the owner and not from paid submissions.
How it stays current
Every listing is re-checked on a recurring crawl, and anything reported as wrong is corrected at the source rather than patched on the page.
How it is ranked
Placement is never sold. Every business on the page is ordered and compared using the same public signals, so an owner cannot pay to move up.
