  “A real disappointment, my daughter pre booked a table for 17 people for my birthday celebrations. When we got there we were split and were on 3 seperate tables, albeit in the same area. Food was really poor, not just one meal but everyone was of the same opinion, food tasted as if it had been pre-cooked and re-warmed. We have eaten at Marsdons Pub all over the country and have never been served food at other venues of such poor quality. We had 40% discount vouchers which we realised we couldn't use as the terms and conditions clearly state not to be used on a Bank Holiday. As we are all public sector workers and we thought we could use our Blue Light codes which offer a 20% discount at Marsons Pubs every day of the week. On settling our bills we were told that our Blue Light discounts could not be used as it was a Bank Holiday. Nobody argued this information and we settled our bills. On checking the Blue Light website on returning home it clearly states: Marston's pubs offer a 20% discount on food all day, every day, for Blue Light Card members. Needless to say we won't be using this venue for our future family gatherings.”

  “Lovely pub with a nice, friendly atmosphere. The food was lush and arrived quite quickly and was reasonable. (even more so with the voucher we had lol)! Niamh looked after us and she was lovely. She was friendly, professional and very attentive. We will definitely return.”

  “Fantastic food and service today for a birthday celebration. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, in particular Poppy, Niamh and Dave who were looking after our area, they could not do enough to ensure that we had everything we needed. Would highly recommend, we look forward to coming back! 😊”

  “Been to The Greenhouse a few times and never been disappointed. Joined today for their brilliant Paw Patrol event which was excellent. Our little boy absolutely loved it! Very well organised and lots of fun. Poppy and Niamh were very welcoming, friendly and attentive.”

  “Extremely disappointing Sunday roast at The Greenhouse. No roast potatoes were offered — instead we were served lukewarm mash with no explanation or warning. The rest of the plate was just as poor: one carrot, one piece of broccoli, half a dried-out roast chicken, and stone-cold pigs in blankets. When we raised this with staff, we were simply told “there is nothing we can do about it.” For the price, this was well below an acceptable standard. Avoid.”

  “We had a wonderful experience thanks to our waitress Niamh. She was friendly, attentive, and professional throughout our visit. She made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived, checked on us regularly without being intrusive, and ensured everything was perfect. Her positive attitude and excellent customer service really stood out and made our meal even more enjoyable.”

  “visited today and as always customer service from the staff were brilliant however. 15.99 for a hunters chicken and the portion size is awful! my kid had more chips on her £1 kids meal! i asked the lady why they were such small recently and she said basically it’s new management and it’s being weighed to portion. 😂😩 Awful experience considering it cost me £65 in total for 4 people to eat 😨”

  “Came across this lovely little pub whilst out on my Motorbike with my little girl and we were very hungry. Restaurant and bar were very busy probably all the bookings. So we managed to get a table outside in the beer garden. Found a menu and we both decided on having a lovely beef dinner obviously I had the large lol and some extra pigs in blankets and a Pepsi each. We used the QR scanner on our table ordering could not have been easier. After a few minutes our drinks arrived and my little one went off to play I. The play area. The beer gare garden was huge so big there were a load of other kids playing a game of football. After 15-20mins our food came out thanks to our server Naomi she couldnt do enough for us. We were not disappointed. Nice cuts of beef that fell apart and delicious fresh veg, collie, brocoli, red cabbage, mash and toasties and 2 of the biggest Yorkshire puddings i ever saw lol. We ate every thing!!!!! Then looked at the menu again and couldn't help ourselves we had to have a cheeky desert. Abbie had the cheese cake with raspberry sauce and icecream and I stuck to the classic sticky toffee pud and custard and they were lovely. We cant thank the staff enough it was a lovely little pit stop on our travels and we will definitely come back soon.”

  “Restaurant was busy but staff were friendy, kept tables spotless, were quick to serve or acknowledge us if they were serving others. Food was delayed (very busy) but we were told before we ordered and kept informed till fiod arrived. Food was piping hot, tasty and losts of it. Very pleased with our birthday meal out.”

  “Good food for the great prices! Visited as part of a party of 8. Service was outstanding with the manager/owner (did not get her name) going above and beyond, to deliver drinks to the table as food had been served! 👍 Everyone enjoyed their meals! Good beer on tap as well and nice beer garden with a play area for kids! Dog friendly as well. Recommend a visit!”
