  “Amazing staff, so friendly! Food was lovely, really nice, seeing other people's orders being served, and all the food looked great. One little thing: the hot shot parmo needs more jalapenos, more pepperoni, and more red onion. We will definitely be back to try more of the extensive menu.”

  “We went here on the way back from Northumberland and chose to eat here due to the glowing reviews and it didn't disappoint. They managed to sneak us a table as it was last minute. The steak pie was fantastic, and the steak strips on a bed of fries and flatbread were mouthwatering. Lovely atmosphere and great service. Would definitely go again.”

  “came in yesterday for sunday lunch and loved it!! first time coming to the coppermine as my partner and i were just passing through. the staff were lovely, squeezing us into the busy restaurant despite not having booked in advanced (which we will definitely do for next time). the food was excellent and came out very quickly despite the busy environment. if i ever pass by again, i will definitely be going back!”

  “On holiday in the area and found this little gem. Top notch food, fantastic staff and great atmosphere. It was a very busy Saturday night but absolutely faultless. Well done team. We will defo be back. Amazing value for money. Don’t change a thing about this place it’s perfect.”

  “Great little pub. Good range of drinks on tap and behind the bar. Food is good quality British pub food. Portions are good and food is served in a timely manner. Prices are very reasonable, if not affordable. The interior is very traditional, warm, cosy and inviting. There is an on-site car park bug enough to serve the pub and there is additional on street parking, though this may be taken by the residents on the road. If you are not driving there is a bus stop 50m away so well within walking distance.”

  “This is our go to place when going out for food! The food is always good quality and great value for money. The atmosphere has a buzz due to contented customers. The thing that makes it stand out is the professionalism and quality of the staff. Finally, it's very dog friendly, the dogs have had many a meat treat on a Sunday lunch time! Highly recommended, you won't be disappointed.”

  “We had the most amazing experience at this local pub and restaurant! The food was absolutely outstanding — every dish was packed full of flavour, beautifully presented, and clearly made with so much care and attention. You can really tell they take pride in what they serve. The staff were just as impressive — so friendly, welcoming and genuinely couldn’t do enough for us. Nothing was too much trouble, and they made us feel completely looked after from start to finish. It’s so nice to have somewhere local that delivers both incredible food and exceptional service. We’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great meal in a lovely atmosphere! ⭐️”

  “Oct-25 Varied menu, so plenty to choose from, really busy so recommend booking. Group of 4, 2 couples, and had a great evening. Food was lovely, staff excellent, prices very reasonable, portions a good size. Will definitely visit again.”

  “First time in the Copper Mine pub in Crook today, for lunch, and on a Saturday. The pub is between quirky and rustic. All the staff were spot on for customer service, though very busy. There are a couple of areas where I didn't take pictures because of this; & within 10 minutes, the pub absolutely packed. Had to wait half an hour for food, but I understood. The food was worth the wait & spot on for food. I had the sticky chicken with sesame with Rice & my hubby had the ciabatta chicken with bbq sauce & chips. + drinks £32 exactly. The pub is kid friendly. The pub has a beer garden and a car park. The pub is dog friendly. We will definitely be returning again soon.”
