About The Stonebridge Inn
The Stonebridge Inn is a gastropub in Durham, found at 15 A690, and it opens daily. The room has the feel of a sports pub, with TV, music and arcade games running alongside the gastropub menu, so sport on screen and a full meal share the same visit. The menu is extensive, and Sunday lunch is a regular offering, served with a choice of vegetables. Dogs are welcome, so owners can bring their pets along when they come to eat or to watch the game.

Customer Review Summary
Sunday lunch is what most reviewers return for, with regulars calling the food and service second to none and others praising the vegetable choices. Several describe tasty food in generous portions, and staff come up repeatedly as polite, welcoming and helpful, including a visit with a dog and a friendly manager. One reviewer says they never had a bad meal, and another found the value for money good. The negatives are sharp, though. Two reviewers describe a long wait for cold food: one reports chilli that had not been heated at all and a corned beef pie in a mini portion, so they sent it back and left. Another says the menu differed from the Facebook page, main meals arrived cold, and the ice creams came out totally melted. A Friday night birthday group reports waiting up to an hour with one chef working, then finding a meat feast pasta with no meat and a pizza that looked like a supermarket frozen one. Even so, they say the supervisor was lovely and apologetic.

“The staff at the Stonebridge Inn were so polite and welcoming when we visited with our dog recently. The menu was quite extensive and we didn't have to wait long for it. The food was so tasty and well cooked and the portions were generous and not too much. I will definitely be back soon and would highly recommend it.”

“Very long wait for really poor cold food.Expensive for what was finally served up. My hubands chilli had avoided being heated up at all. My corned beef pie was a mini portion. Very disappointing. We sent the food back and left.”
