“Great home made food, excellent choice of meals and light meals. Lovely atmosphere and interior decor, beamed ceilings, huge fireplace, friendly and attentive staff. I highly recommend you try this place either for just a drink or for a family celebration.”

“Went for a Sunday roast and really enjoyed the sharing roast board. It was huge and more than the 2 of us could manage, 3 meats with trimmings plus cauliflower cheese. I did sneak in a pudding though, which was just as good. Lovely staff all round. Pub was really busy, with outside sitting if you fancy. Wide choice of menu for a Sunday with classics along side the traditional roast. Definitely worth a visit”

“I visited with my daughter and three year old grandson for Easter Sunday lunch and it was everything I had hoped for and more. The welcome was friendly and the service excellent. A relaxed atmosphere made us feel right at home. Loved how they treated grandson. We had the Sunday Roast sharing board and it was incredible! The quality of the food was top notch. In particular, the succulent roast beef (very generous too), the indulgent cauliflower cheese and the crispy Yorkshire puddings. Oh and that gravy, wow! This is how pub food should be, locally sourced and freshly cooked. So happy to be spending my money at an independent pub. You pay for what you get and for me it was worth every penny. Well done team and thank you for a memorable experience.”
