About Sambuca cramlington
Sambuca cramlington is a restaurant in Cramlington, set in Glasshouse 4&5 South Mall. The menu covers starters, mains and desserts, with pizza including a steak and blue cheese pizza. A half-and-half option lets diners combine pasta and pizza in one order, which suits tables where people want different things. A live singer performs in the evenings from around 8:30, so dinner here comes with music. Sundays bring a carvery with a choice of meats, beef and turkey among them, served with vegetables and roast potatoes. A lunch time special and a steak night give two more reasons to visit outside the weekend. Tables usually come with a wait, even on weeknights.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often single out the service, with one server drawing repeated praise for fixing a drinks mix-up, making a mother-in-law's birthday feel special and giving good recommendations. Food comes close behind, described as delicious, with the steak and blue cheese pizza, a half and half of pasta and pizza, potato skins and carbonara all mentioned. A few call it cheap and cheerful, with plenty on the plate, and several describe a lively atmosphere with staff dancing around, though one finds it a little loud at peak hours.

“We were there yesterday for a meal. The staff go above and beyond to accommodate you, they are always happy and create a good atmosphere. We ordered half and half (pasta and pizza) and the waiter that served us (Simo) was fantastic. The food was delicious and we will def be back - Thank you Simo”

“Had a lovely night here for my mother in laws birthday. Food was really nice, I would highly recommend the steak and blue cheese pizza. Our night was made extra special by the service from Matthew. We mentioned it was my mother in law’s birthday and she was made to feel extra special. Can’t wait to return ,good night all round”

“We will never set foot in this restaurant again. What is the point of booking a table when you have to stand in a long queue with bookings snd non bookings. We booked for 7.15, and had to join the queue which was nearly out of the door. We checked if there was a separate queue for bookings to be told there was only one. It was 7.55 before we sat down and then it was right next to where the singer would stand and he started at 8.30 & it was so loud that we could not have a conversation & the waitress couldn’t hear our orders. Definitely not return :(”

“I went here a few nights ago for a meal with the family and it was a fantastic experience. Food was delicious and served withing reasonable time, and service was incredible. Matthew ensured our time here was as good as possible by going above and beyond for us. We had a slight issue with our drinks order and he quickly sorted the issue with no problem at all. From that point on he took our food order and ensured everything was correct when our food arrived. Give him a payrise!!!! The atmosphere was a little loud but it was at peanut hours so it was expected. We will definitely come back again”
