“This is a proper ale house, the best on the island quite possibly. They have a great selection of proper ales and they do Lonkero on draught with crushed ice and a slice of grapefruit which is very refreshing. They also do cider, wines, gins, rums etc. It is quite small and only has 1 or 2 tables outside but has inside seating up and downstairs. The staff are really friendly and knowledgeable. Prices are very good including the Lonkero. They don't do food but it's great for pre-drinks before visiting any of the many place's in Cowes for food. The Ale house is definitely well worth a visit! 😆”

“We were taken here by a couple of locals who like the pub. Whilst compact it has a great selection of ales and a good vibe. Very impressed that the barman remembered our drinks & served them either a smile. You also get good value for money either a similar ‘round’ costing £10 more at another local pub. Pay them a visit.”
