Quick info
About The Titchfield Mill
The Titchfield Mill occupies an 18th-century mill building on Mill Ln in Fareham, serving classic and modern pub food. The kitchen runs a Sunday roast alongside the regular menu, with table service bringing food out to diners. Outdoor seating extends the space beyond the mill itself, and dogs are welcome throughout. A step-free, wheelchair-accessible entrance serves visitors with mobility needs. Families and groups eating off site can order takeaway or delivery. The pub opens daily, and reservations are recommended given its handy position for those visiting the national nature reserve nearby.

Customer Review Summary
The Sunday roast draws the most consistent praise, described repeatedly as generously portioned, perfectly cooked, and worth returning for, alongside standout mentions of the full English breakfast with a pot of breakfast tea and dishes like clams, salmon, and roast turkey with cauliflower cheese. The drinks menu also earns a nod, with reviewers highlighting refreshing mocktails among the options. Table service is raised in nearly every review as warm, attentive, and friendly, and the cosy, relaxing indoor atmosphere and decor come up often as part of the appeal. Parking is noted as plentiful and convenient. The one recurring trade-off is portion size versus price, with one diner feeling the food was high quality but on the smaller side for what it cost. Several reviewers say they're already planning their next visit, and one recalls being sent off with an extra bowl of custard after asking for more.

“Had a lovely time visiting The Titchfield Mill with friends on a warm, sunny weekend. It was the perfect spot to escape the heat, the indoor seating area was beautifully cool and offered such a peaceful, relaxing ambience. The food was genuinely delicious; I’ve actually been craving it since I left! The drinks menu is also a highlight, with some great options and really refreshing mocktails. While the food was high quality, I felt the portion sizes were a little on the smaller side for the price point. That said, I’m already planning my next visit because the overall experience was so pleasant.”

How this listing is sourced
- Where the data comes from
- Name, address, hours, contact details, amenities, ratings and review counts come from the business's publicly available profile data — not from the owner and not from paid submissions.
- How it stays current
- Every listing is re-checked on a recurring crawl, and anything reported as wrong is corrected at the source rather than patched on the page.
- How it is ranked
- Placement is never sold. Every business on the page is ordered and compared using the same public signals, so an owner cannot pay to move up.
