Customer Review Summary

Drinks draw the most attention, led by tea and coffee. Reviewers praise a mint tea made with fresh leaves, a chai latte one calls the best they have had, a hot latte, and a decaf flat white that still impressed. Food comes close behind: an almond croissant, a sausage roll, mushroom soup described as full of flavor and comforting, and a deli bagel with good presentation and taste. Staff are repeatedly called friendly and lovely, and the atmosphere is described as relaxed and never too loud, with comfortable seating and pleasant outdoor tables. The criticisms are few but specific. One reviewer found the meat in the bagel sparse, another said a toasted teacake tasted of onion, and one notes tables are hard to get at peak hours. One visitor during Earlsdon Festival noticed the staff wearing flower crowns.

“This is a high street coffee shop that distinguishes itself by the food and drink quality and portion sizes. The shop offers its own bakery products which are very good, interesting and tasty. This is all packaged in modern, clean premises with distinctive character, by pleasant and polite staff. It would be difficult to further improve any of these features in a high street environment; this represents the epitome of achievement in every way.”

“Lovely coffee shop and I use it regularly but I had a toasted teacake and it tasted of onion. Shouldn't be using the sane surface for veg that they use for bread etc! Hopefully they will read this and make a change”

“I come in here when my mariage ended. I hadn't been so happy for a long while. The name has changed, relaxed place. Good coffee, great cake.”

“I’ve been coming here occasionally when I feel like it with my partner for a quick drink and an occasional snack. By far one of the nicest places in Earlsdon let alone Coventry for a coffee. The coffee they do is so delicious, I always order a Chai Latte and it is the best I’ve ever had, nothing compares. My partner always has Iced Tea or a Hot Chocolate and she loves it! Inside there’s always enough room to find a seat and it’s a nice ambience, never too loud. Outside is lovely too on a summers day. Well recommended for a visit, 5*!”
