Customer Review Summary

Coffee drinks anchor the praise, with reviewers singling out a gingerbread latte, a mallow cappuccino, and iced coffee from one person who usually struggles to find it done well. Close behind are friendly, smiling staff, latte art on a cappuccino and latte, a tasty and filling bagel, and a toastie with a salmon salad. One table received a complimentary victoria sponge after mentioning a birthday. Several call the space cozy, with seating inside and out and plugs at every table. The criticism is specific. One diner found the coffee burnt and bitter, with the iced version tasting like espresso over tap water and two ice cubes, plus a side salad sitting in a puddle of oil. Another got beans on toast on cheap white bread that was not properly toasted. Two reviewers describe a curt tone and confusion over what was available, including a breakfast item that could not be ordered later in the day. One visit that ran out of mallow, turmeric and cow milk ended with a fully stamped loyalty card as an apology.

“We had beans on toast. The beans were OK but the bread was cheap white sliced, one a crust andnot properly toasted. Very disappointing as when we last came the coffee was excellent and they had delicious crispy croissants.”

“The place alone holds a high end cafe ambience. The service was just the best. Me and my friend were there for a coffee. I mentioned it was my friend’s birthday so she can have all decorations on her drink. The guy who served us was kind enough to bring a humongous slice of victoria sponge as a complimentary dessert which tasted amazing and also the action was so kind and generous.”

“Small , cozy , space. There’s enough sitting , the ambiance is great , and the food was tasty and in good quantity.”
  • Clement Kolandaisamy
“A quiet place to chill and enjoy your cuppa with really friendly service. The food and drinks were equally good too. The cakes are made by Rav, locally. So definitely fresh batches. And every table has plugs for charging or working from. Thank you Rav and Matt, we really enjoyed our visits”
  • Francesca D
“I struggle normally to find places that can do iced coffee! They do it pretty well here and service is great! I did not have food to comment on it. Plenty of seating outside and inside. I am non smoker so had my coffee inside and it was very cozy! Decent coffee quality too so I would recommend for a quick stop.”
