About The Vault Coventry
The Vault Coventry is a halal coffee shop at 15 Little Park St in Coventry, serving brunch, dinner and desserts. Because the food is halal, guests who eat halal can have a full meal from brunch through to dinner, not only a drink. The menu runs all day, with coffee and ice drinks alongside the brunch dishes. Some dishes bring a spicy kick. The kitchen caters to gluten and lactose allergies, and a gluten-free brownie is among the sweet options.

Customer Review Summary
The breakfast draws the most praise, with the lamb and pork sausage singled out as full of flavour, alongside beans with spectacular flavour. Close behind are the ribeye steak ciabatta, called succulent and perfectly saucy, a kebab roll and grilled salmon, and a gluten free brownie for a diner with gluten and lactose allergies. One reviewer notes every meal had just the right spicy kick, and another mentions the ice drinks. A couple call the coffee delicious, and a few stayed to work on a laptop. Staff come up repeatedly as friendly and welcoming, one accommodating a fussy child and another offering ice water and checking in on a hot day. The main complaint comes from one reviewer, who found the poached egg quite undercooked and the tomato not particularly great, disliked water served in plastic takeaway cups, and found the seating tight and the inside too warm. Reviewers also recall a surprise birthday cake for a son and extra garlic bread given to take away.

“Came here to work while my car was in the garage and can’t recommend it enough - much better than going to my usual Starbucks. Food and coffee is as delicious, atmosphere was great and what I really noticed is how respectfully the staff talk to customers and each other. Thanks to Nils for the warm welcome and great service”

“We went to The vault for my son's birthday and it was such a great experience. The atmosphere was great and the food was really good. The waitress Marija was exceptional 👌 such a lovely lady. Helped us get comfy and looked after so well. 💝💝 Great value for the food too! They even gave my son a surprise birthday cake. So thoughtful.”

“I ordered the vault breakfast and it was overall, a decent meal. The lamb and pork sausage was delicious as were the beans, they both had a spectacular amounts of flavour. My only issue with it was my poached egg was quite undercooked and the tomato wasn't particularly great. The coffee was delectable but the water was in plastic takeaway cups which I didn't think was necessary and incredibly wasteful. We did end up sitting outside because it was so warm inside and the seating was quite tight so it wasn't the most comfortable. The staff seemed lovely though and it was a lovely experience.”

“We have been to the vault twice now and have enjoyed it each time. The food is really good, I am not good with spice typically, but every meal I have tried had just the right amount of spicy kick. Plus the meals look as good as they taste, plated with care. We also received great service from Inas and Francesca who are friendly and helpful with questions about the menu. Also if you're a fan of ice drinks this place it worth a visit”

“Had a great experience at The Vault. I’ve been here before with friends and keep coming back! Food is great and Maria was lovely, very friendly and caring. I stayed for a while to work. It’s a hot day and she kept checking on me in case I needed anything and offered ice water. Thank you! I’ll be back :)”
