Customer Review Summary

Reviewers most often praise the friendly staff, and the breakfast plates that go with them: a Halal English breakfast that comes with a coffee and an epic portion, a Lebanese breakfast described as sumptuous, and a vegetarian breakfast with particularly crispy hash browns. Close behind are the bagels, called the best in Coventry by one regular, and coffee served with a biscoff biscuit. Others single out the hot chocolate, fresh orange juice, soup, fresh desserts, and bakery pastries with feta and soft cheese. One reviewer recommends the Egyptian foul and stuffed vine leaves, and another suggests coming early. Diners describe fresh food served in good time, a welcoming atmosphere, and an owner who often chats with locals. The one criticism is that a reviewer wanted proper Halal sausages instead of frankfurters in the Halal English breakfast, and the same reviewer notes that not everything on the menu is Halal and suggests asking staff if in doubt. Several regulars say they bring friends back, and one first visited just before giving birth.

“I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The staff were incredibly respectful, friendly, and welcoming from the moment I arrived. They provided excellent customer service and made me feel comfortable throughout my visit. The hot chocolate was rich, warm, and absolutely delicious, and the fresh orange juice was refreshing and full of flavour. “I have recently visited with my little one (Bagel Brunch was the last restaurant I went to before giving birth so it’s got a special place in my heart). I love all the food that they have got and the fact that they offer fresh desserts too. Coffee was lovely, breakfast too. Great atmosphere, you can see that lots of locals come here. Owner is often there chatting to people. It’s one of those comfort places that i like going to.”
