  “I only dropped in for a beer. They had a good range of cask ales. I had Stonehenge's Danish Dynamite. It never disappoints. It was kept well. The pub is lovely, with loads of little booths and nooks and cranies. Definitely my kind of place. I spoke to some regulars and they said that the food was also really good. It smelt and looked amazing.”

  “Quirky pub in centre of Corsham. Friendly staff and good choice of real ales and lagers on tap. Food is simple but value for the money. Worth a try. Lots of locals use it so must be good.”

  “Proper pub with very tasty house (Flemish) ale. Managed to get one pint of Independence by Bristol Brewery but sold o when I went back for a second pint, hence the purchase of the house ale 🍻 Can’t rate food as didn’t try any.”

  “What a lovely place. Service excellent. Menu varied for all tastes. Food hot and freshly cooked. Only criticism is the seating requires attention exposed foam on seats. Still a lovely place and would definitely eat there again.”

  “Absolute gem of a pub. Staff and owner really lovely and welcoming. Food was very good, and for the price portions were excellent (much bigger than expected!) and quality was great. Drinks, very reasonably priced. And the aesthetics of the pub itself was very warm, cozy and a proper old style pub. Will definitely be back if we come to Corsham again”

  “Wonderful family and dog friendly pub in the heart of Corsham! This little gem is full of character with amazing food and an ever changing specials board featuring locally sourced fresh ingredients to match the seasons. They have a great selection of beers, ales and wines and the friendly staff are always on hand to recommend something new! Definitely worth a visit, you will not be disappointed!”

  “What a brilliant pub! The food was amazing (highly recommend the pies), the service was excellent, friendly and fast (special mention to Cammy), and the vibes and atmosphere were top notch. Sadly we’re not local but we’ll definitely try and come back again soon!”

  “Amazing old quirky pub in the high street. Very friendly staff and pleasant atmosphere. We waited a while for our food, but that was fine as there was lots of card games that we played to keep us busy which was provided by the pub. I had the steak and my husband had the pie of the day- a choice from about 4. My daughter had sausage and mash which she loved and was definitely big enough for an 11 year old. I would recommend. There is parking outside for a couple of hours- Sunday is no time limit.”

  “So glad the previous pub was busy, we got a real treat, nice friendly busy proper pub, the food was first class the best I’ve had in a long time! Specials menu was good too plenty of choice, great range of drinks and the staff were really nice, friendly and I think genuinely a really good place to visit, this is a definite return to pub! Best of all dog friendly (well behaved) and two peacocks took the evening’s entertainment out front.”

  “We visited this lovely old world pub on a Sunday. We had made a reservation and I would highly recommend doing this as this pub is well known for its fabulous food. It's a lovely place to visit., full of old world charm and quirky style. The staff were lovely and friendly and the food and service was excellent”
