Quick info
About No Name: Bar & Games
No Name: Bar & Games is a bar on Long Wyre St in Colchester, open daily, that puts a full games floor alongside the drinks. Axe throwing, crazy golf and shuffleboard are among the games on offer, and the All Play Pass gives 2 hours of play across them in a single session. That makes it easy for a group to move from one game to the next. Food is served on site, so a session can include a meal. On Saturdays, a bottomless brunch runs for 90 minutes with unlimited drinks and a server for the slot, and games follow afterwards. Group and table bookings are taken, including for larger parties, and the venue is used for birthdays and workplace socials. When England are playing, the match is shown, and the sound can be turned up on request.

Customer Review Summary
The all-play pass is what most reviewers come for, with axe throwing, crazy golf, shuffleboard, pool, darts and table tennis named most often. Several call it good value for friends or a family afternoon. Staff draw repeated praise as kind, attentive and happy to hand over whatever equipment a group wanted, and hosts are credited with keeping birthdays and a workplace social event running smoothly. Close behind is the bottomless brunch, where one diner describes a server who kept every glass filled and the food sorted. Reviewers also mention good drink deals, decent music and a welcoming crowd for England matches. One reviewer found the axes smaller than at a rival venue and the golf very easy and small, though still a laugh. One group of eight made a booking mistake, and staff sorted it out and seated everyone together. They then turned the sound up for the match when asked.

“We came here this weekend for bottomless brunch for a friends birthday, i wanted to give a special shout out to Millie who was our server for those 90 minutes, she worked really hard to make sure everyone was ok, and was very attentive, always making sure everybody had a drink and that our food was all sorted, the atmosphere was great & the brunch is definitely worth the money. we will definitely book again soon!”

“Great place to watch the England games. Good drink deals and the all-you-can-play pass is great value if you want a game of snooker, darts or basketball before kick-off. We booked for 8 adults and made a last-minute mistake with the booking, but Vicky and Kyri sorted it out and got us all sat together. Really appreciate the help. Good atmosphere, decent music, and they turned the sound up for the match when we asked. Friendly staff and a welcoming place, with plenty of families there even for the later games. Would definitely recommend and will be back.”
