Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often praise the cafe's catering, especially grazing tables, afternoon tea boxes and trays of sandwiches, sausage rolls and tray bake cakes. One describes a grazing table with separate boxes for kids, vegetarians and gluten free guests, while another calls the carrot cake one of the best they've had. Close behind, dine-in visitors single out an English breakfast described as one of the best, plus homemade fruit toast, a scone and a pot of tea. Staff are repeatedly called friendly, helpful and quick, and one reviewer notes colouring and books for children. The main complaint comes from one reviewer who found a sausage and mushroom barm too expensive for dry, disintegrating bread, chip shop style sausages and mushrooms swamped with garlic. Another notes that catering orders had to be collected in person, with no delivery. Two women set up one grazing table an hour before a party and left boxes for the leftovers.

“We were suggested to try this place when looking for a caterer who could provide homemade cakes and savouries for an event with 45 people. The cafe has just started external catering. We ordered trays of sandwiches, sausage rolls, tray bake cakes, and 2 large Victoria sandwich cakes. The carrot cake is one of the best we've ever had! But all the food was complimented by our guests. Only small down side was we had to collect in person (no delivery). Excellent value overall. Would definitely use again.”

“We ordered a grazing table from Manna for my son’s 1st birthday party this weekend, and wow did they deliver. It looked absolutely spectacular as you can see from the photo. Two wonderful ladies came and set up for us an hour before the party, they were so lovely, efficient and tidy even leaving us some boxes for the leftovers. The food was so delicious and had everything you could want from a grazing spread and more. They catered for Kids, Adults, Vegetarians with a separate box for Gluten Free. We couldn’t have asked for anything more, would highly recommend Manna for your next event ❤️”

“Absolutely fantastic place, the staff are so friendly, welcoming and professional. The food is such high quality and absolutely fantastic. They are so welcoming to children and have colouring, and books for them which they can go up and get as often as they want. We were served really quickly and the food was wonderful. They also sell coffee which is a great gift to give someone, which we have done, as well as a nice treat for yourself too.”

“This has gone downhill. I work in hospitality and know cost prices have increased but nearly £7 for a sausage and mushroom barm you would expect some quality. It was the cheap, dry bread that quickly disintegrates, chip shop 24p each sausages and then for some reason they drenched breakfast mushrooms in a ton of garlic. So you could only taste garlic. I had no idea the mushrooms came with garlic Sad, but not taking my time to visit again. Its not a big step to get decent sausages, proper bread and leave the garlic for something else.”
