Customer Review Summary
Pizza draws the most enthusiasm, with one regular calling it the proper Italian kind and praising the desserts as phenomenal. Egg Benedict at breakfast and an exceptional coffee also earn praise, and a few describe a quiet, peaceful room where conversation is easy. Service splits the reviews sharply. Several describe unwelcoming staff: girls at the till laughing at an order and rolling their eyes, servers chatting among themselves while ignoring customers, and a look of disgust when no tip was left. One diner returned a watery tuna, red onion and cheese toastie and was offered no replacement, remake or refund. Another found the food lukewarm, and one felt portions were small for what was charged. Others found staff patient, polite and attentive, and one family recalls a young waitress waving off their children's mess and handing the kids magnets to play with.

“I wanted to get some food after a long day in college. Me and my friend went in the cafe and ordered some food. As we were ordering the girls at the till were so rude and laughing at me about my order. The person taking my order literally gave me a dirty look and rolling her eyes. Disappointed. Food was good but i will not be going back if i’m going to get treated in that way.”

“Had a great experience here start to finish. Came in and was greeted nicely by the staff, ordered my drink and sat down. Coffee was exceptional! Loved it! Food came out piping hot and full of flavour. Staff were very attentive if we needed any sauces or additional things. Thank you, will definitely be back! 🙌🏻”

“Foods acceptable i wasn't blown away..I expected more...its a really nice place, nice decor...just lacking/missing something...there was no interaction from the staff....I don't know what else to say...Apart from it was peaceful which was nice...”

“The staff who work here are miserable and don’t want to be there. If you decide not to tip you can see the look of disgust and the attitude is like nowhere I’ve ever been. The prices are expensive for the size of portion you get and you feel like an inconvenience.”

“Used to go here all the time when they had older women serving you who were always great but recently food and service has gone downhill seems to just be teenagers behind the bar who can’t be arsed. Food was lukewarm and girls just ignore you and chat amongst themselves. Wife said they were rude to her too when she went up to ask for more sauce”
