  “Update 2026/07: still really solid fish & chips, the scampi is good too! Prompt delivery and nice folks. Update 2025/07/30: update again, they did realise after a short while and delivered the correct order. Seems some key staff are on holiday and they did apologise! Delivered the wrong order to us and will not pick up the phone. Shame because the quality remained pretty good. Some occasional off days. First review: Ordered online for delivery, very quick and absolutely delicious on all fronts. Had the standard cod and chips and mushy peas. We’re fussy about our fish and chips but it was just perfect really. Chip portion sizes are plenty generous, if you’ve got a smaller appetite like me I recommend the small chips!!”

  “Solid cheesy chips, cheese was well melted and they were hot. However my battered sausage was luke-warm and the batter on it was pale and spongy and lacked flavour, I was hoping it would have been golden and crispy. It seemed it had been cooked a while ago and just left under the heat lamp Guy who served us was very nice tho”

  “Nice that they were open in the afternoon, but I'm not exaggerating, the chips I bought were inedible. Chewy, tasting of old oil, some very dark brown. Absolutely disgusting. I poked around for some good ones but there weren't any so they went in the bin. Not cheap either”

  “Have to knock the stars down as they are inconsistent at times in terms of their fish. The fish is never bad but sometimes fluctuates from great to average. Their chips/sausages? Very good for me. It is hard as I have heritage within the chip shop game,so, i know what I'm looking for. In terms of atmosphere and friendliness a huge GOLD star from me. They try to do the right thing which should count for something. Portions are generous aswell. Would recommend.”

  “Absolutely amazing fish and chips! Classic crust and delicious soft Plaice, the service is outstanding, so friendly and welcoming, really funny guys who run the place! Priced really well compared to others, location is easy to find, near the beach, curry sauce is heavenly. 10/10”

  “Late back from visiting relatives we decided fish and chips would be a quick meal . As it was a Monday most fish and chips shops in the area were closed but as this one was open we gave it a try. Fish was cooked fresh and was moist inside with crispy batter. Chips were of the soft rather than crispy type and good. Service was friendly and chatty.”

  “Got to be honest, we only stopped here as we had lost a rider in heavy traffic but what a good call. The food here is pretty amazing and all freshly cooked to order. On top of that there are some very comfortable seating areas to enjoy your food at, so now that winter is coming this could well be a regular pit stop 👍😋👌 Happy to say our missing rider got the messages and tipped up in plenty of time to enjoy a kebab 😉”
