  “⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had such a lovely experience at Potager Restaurant! Bella looked after us and was absolutely amazing, so friendly, welcoming and attentive throughout our visit. She made sure we had everything we needed and provided excellent service with a smile. She’s a real credit to the restaurant, and we’ll definitely be returning!”

  “The restaurant was beautiful and the staff were amazing. The food was a bit of a let down. Steaks were supposed to be medium/rare but all were well done. The pistachio sponge was also dry and not much flavour.”

  “An excellent lunch in the comfortable indoor dining room. The food was the quality that one would expect in such a hotel restaurant. My dessert deserves a special mention. It was the hotel's take on an Eaton mess with part of the cream and the meringues infused with rose. Imaginative and delicious!.”

  “Had dinner at the Potager during our stay at Crouchers and it was a real highlight of the trip. The food was excellent you can taste the quality and care that goes into every dish. The service matched it perfectly, attentive without being overbearing. Such a treat to have a restaurant of this standard right at the hotel. Will definitely be booking a table again next time we're down.”

  “Just WOW. We came today for a family Sunday lunch and it was absolutely fabulous. The roast Belly pork was probably the best I'd ever eaten! Delicious roasted glazed parsnips and carrots and roasted potatoes with a very rich Jus and a huge Yorkshire pudding. Most of our party had a pudding and all commented on how amazing they were. We leave you today, well fed and very happy with everything we've eaten. Great attentive service from the ladies, we wanted for nothing. Our thanks to the chef. X”

  “I recently had the pleasure of having lunch at the Potager restaurant for my friends 60th birthday. The food was absolutely delicious. The staff were extremely attentive and helpful. The receptionist at the entrance greeted us warmly and upon our exit. I know the birthday had the BEST time so thank you so much Crouchers 🙏💕. Highly recommend and look forward to booking for the locals night soon.”

  “We chose Crouchers Hotel as the venue for our Wedding Reception for a variety of reasons. It is a lovely setting by Chichester Canal, easy to get to from Chichester Station by taxi or bus, has beautiful gardens, and we knew the food was exceptional. But most of all because Catherine was very open to our ideas and nothing was too much trouble. She instinctively knew what was needed to make the day go smoothly and happily. And so we had the most wonderful day – the food was excellent, the venue beautifully decorated, the service impeccable, the staff friendly, and everyone had the best time, including us. Catherine took all the stress away from our big day and even took photographs to share. We were allowed to have our own music and to set up a croquet set. It is now somewhere we will go to regularly to remember our special day.”

  “Had lunch here. Very pleasant. Dog friendly - ate in the bar area (full menu). Food was excellent, as was the service. Charged-up my car over lunch - located adjacent to hotel reception (50Kw - Polar network).”

  “Surprisingly good food, had the duck and it was cooked perfectly. Dish was put together extremely well, quite inventive executed flawlessly. Very happy. Service was slow to get drinks but I appreciate the nightmare that all restaurants have at the moment with trying to get/retain staff. Cocktails were nice too.”
