  “Lovely pub and the staff are very welcoming and helpful. The food choice was great and my scallop starter was great. Bonus points for the QR code you can scan to find out the calories per dish. It really helps if you're trying to decide between two equally delicious sounding choices, you can simply go with the healthier option (or save a bit for an extra starter or dessert). The outdoor seating is well laid out and you can get a glimpse of the Thames. Only slight sadness about the busy road. Still an excellent stop or even destination for a great evening out.”

  “I LOVED the food here! Highly recommend! The service was friendly all round! The atmosphere was full and cozy! Music playing was a good vibe but a tad bit too loud but worth it because everything else was 5* I shall be back!”

  “Nice family pub. Spacious, bright, little bit classy. Good quiet location by river, although still a road in the way. Ample car parking. Little bit pricey for the food. Portions little bit too small considering price.”

  “Great pub by the river, nice garden. The dinner menu is lovely, I had the linguine with king prawn, crab, chorizo and scalios. All the seafood was cooked beautifully and the flavour overall was lovely. We also ordered the shrimp starter, that was also beautifully cooked and tasty. Ordered a burger and that was nice aswell. Overall really lovely evening experience.”

  “Really nice cosy atmosphere and tasty hearty food. The only reason I haven't given 5 stars is that I found the food a little heavy on the salt and my king prawn pappardelle only had three prawns in it and lots of chorizo instead. The Shiraz we had was nice enough and the service pleasant. If you want to go out for a nice meal but prefer unstuffy, relaxed surroundings then this is a much better option than a posh restaurant. For some strange reason they placed us, as a couple on a date, next to the noisiest table there which I found slightly off-putting and the chap who seated us wasn't mega friendly or warm but hey ho, you can't be friends with everyone. Background music was set at a good level.”
