Customer Review Summary
Reviewers return most for the Sunday roast, and the Roast Harissa Lamb is the dish they single out, served soft with mint sauce and black cauliflower cheese. One reviewer suggests the beef for anyone who dislikes the smell of lamb. Close behind are the breakfasts and brunches, including the Smashed Avocado with Egg, a veggie breakfast and full English plates, with the French toast called light and very good. The Lamb Shawarma wrap with sweet potato fries, iced matcha and coffee also get praise, and several note the food is halal. Staff are repeatedly described as friendly and welcoming, with service efficient even when busy, and the room is called buzzing yet easy to talk in. The caveats are small. One reviewer found the coffee a little too dark, another wished the berry smoothie came colder, and one notes there is no parking nearby and had to park across the street. One reviewer visited twice within 48 hours.

“The tiniest cafe on this road. Oh but lovely food. Had Saturday brunch here and all dishes we ordered were served with right temperature and in good time. Food taste 10/10, definitely going back. Parking is not available around. Had to park across the street. Average spend 20£ with a hot beverage Food served here is halal”

“Absolutely loved this place. From the moment the food arrived, you could tell everything was made with real care and attention — every dish looked incredible and somehow tasted even better. The flavours were spot on, fresh, and packed with quality ingredients. What really made the experience stand out though was the staff. Everyone was genuinely friendly, welcoming, and attentive, which made the whole atmosphere feel relaxed and enjoyable. It’s the kind of place that instantly becomes a favourite — somewhere you know you’ll keep coming back to again and again. A real staple spot and definitely one I’d recommend to anyone looking for consistently great food and service. What a great way to start the bank holiday weekend!”
