About Three Brothers Cafe

Three Brothers Cafe is a cafe in Manchester at 353 Kingsway, open daily and built around a Desi breakfast of dhaal, keema, scrambled eggs, small parathas and a desi tea. That plate gives the morning a full, shared-table style meal in one order. Elsewhere on the cooked breakfast list, spicy beans and scrambled eggs with onions and chilli carry the same Desi influence, while an English breakfast sits alongside for anyone who prefers it. Desi chai, also written Deshi chai, is on the drinks side. The kitchen also makes French toast in Hong Kong style and pistachio varieties.

Customer Review Summary

Reviewers return most for the desi breakfast, which several describe with dhaal, keema, scrambled eggs, small parathas and a desi tea, praising its depth of flavour, spice and lack of grease. The desi chai gets repeated mentions as warming and on point. Close behind are the French toasts, including a Hong Kong style version described as a new and nice experience and a pistachio one with a very generous portion and just the right sweetness. Others mention an English breakfast with a generous portion, a sausage stir fry, pancakes with chocolate and strawberries, and an iced white chocolate matcha. Staff are consistently called friendly and welcoming, and one reviewer calls the place clean and relaxed. The complaints are small and specific: one reviewer objected to being charged for each slice of toast on top of otherwise reasonable prices, one found the sausage a bit spicy, and one found the chairs too hard. One diner was so full from the desi breakfast that they could barely finish it.

“One of the best desi breakfasts we've had in Manchester. All three dishes had depth of flavour, a decent amount of spice and was not greasy at all. The desi chai was nice and warming. Would definitely come back to try their other dishes.”

“Awesome food, great service and pricing. Can’t ask for more. The pistachio French toast was a very generous portion, just the right sweetness level, definitely fills you up. Deshi chai was on point too.”

“We really enjoyed our breakfast here. Visited on a Sunday morning around half 10, didn't need to book. Everywhere was clean, staff were great and the food even better. I had the 'Sausage Stir Fry' and my son had pancakes with chocolate and strawberries. Highly recommend and will visit again.”

“Stopped by this café recently and had a really great experience. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the food and drinks were excellent, and everything felt well looked after. A special mention to Rashid, who was an outstanding host. He was friendly, attentive, and genuinely made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. It's rare to come across someone who clearly cares about making sure customers have a good experience, and it definitely made our visit even better. We'll definitely be coming back and would happily recommend this place to anyone looking for a great café with excellent service.”
