About The Crazy Cow Cafe
The Crazy Cow Cafe, an independent, family run cafe on Wilmslow Road in Manchester, gives dogs their own menu, with water bowls and snacks for the four-legged half of the party. Breakfast drives the daytime kitchen, from build-your-own plates to a veggie version and Full English fry-ups, while sandwiches such as a halloumi ciabatta come with chunky chips on the side. Coffee runs throughout, with milk poured from a mini dairy churn, and the counter keeps carrot cake and pastries alongside. Seating is limited inside and fills up, so booking ahead is advised. Outside, benches and a covered area at the side let people eat in the open air with their dogs, and the step-free entrance keeps the cafe reachable for visitors with mobility needs. It opens daily during the day only, a short walk from East Didsbury station and close to Fletcher Moss park.

Customer Review Summary
Breakfast anchors most accounts: one regular calls the veggie breakfast with cheese omelette and pastry their local go-to, another describes building their own from sourdough, avocado and scrambled eggs, and a third singles out the Full English alongside the home made dishes and cakes. Coffee comes close behind, called excellent and, in one case, one of the best iced lattes had in a while, with a reviewer charmed by the mini dairy churn the milk arrives in. Not everyone agrees: one found the coffee not to their taste and disliked the mingled smell of coffee, sweets, onion and fries, while a disappointed visitor who bought a latte near closing describes it as lukewarm, tasting mostly of milk, and left unfinished. Other dishes named include the halloumi ciabatta with sweet chilli and garlic mayo and a customisable club sandwich with chunky chips portioned large enough to share. Dog owners point to the water bowls and dog menu, one signing off as Corgi-approved.

“The carrot cake was excellent, the coffee not at all, for my personal taste. The environment is nice. I don't like the mixed smell of coffee and sweets for breakfast, with onion and fries, but that's it. Globally I would come back.”

“One of THE best iced lattes i’ve had for a while; fresh food with great choice! I must comment on how friendly and attentive the staff are, which adds to the lovely atmosphere. A great independent cafe.”

“Great little cafe that serve fabulous Full English Breakfasts and lots of other home made dishes and cakes! The quiet covered outdoor eating area at the side is a hidden gem!”
- Rick Doyle
“Just bought a latte from there. They were nearly closing, but the drink was luke warm and I could barely taste the coffee. Just the milk. Bit disappointing. I didn't finish it. Waste of money.”

“We popped in here after the Fletcher Moss parkrun on a Saturday morning. Luckily enough, we stumbled in around 10am, just as the were opening and managed to grab a table. Soon, the place started to fill and we had found a “hidden gem” that seems to be a hit with the locals. We ordered off the menu, and built our own breakfasts that tasted absolutely delicious! Sourdough bread, with avocado and then scrambled eggs on top! Also appreciated the mini diary churn that the milk was served in for the coffees! Great quality coffee too!”
